1、 Module 8 AccidentUnit 1 While the lights were changingto red, a car suddenly appeared.教材分析:模块分析:本模块以事故为主题,涉及交通事故、人被毒蛇咬伤等内容。学习本模块有助于使学生认识到注意安全的重要性,为他们掌握一些基本的急救措施提供帮助,也有助于提高学生应对突发事件的能力。单元分析:本模块第一单元的对话是由詹姆斯老师亲眼所见的一起交通事故引出的。通过詹姆斯老师对事故的描述,对话自然地导入了过去进行时这一语法项目。同时,对话描述了可能会发生在学生身边的突发事件,不但能提高学生的学习热情,也有助于提高学生
2、的安全意识。学情分析:现在的学生几乎都是在家长的精心呵护下成长起来的,在生活中几乎没有遇到过突发事件;即使偶尔遇到事故,家长也会尽可能地帮孩子处理好,这就造成了很多学生的安全意识淡薄,急救常识匮乏,应对突发事件的能力不足,因而学习本单元有很强的教育意义。学生对于过去进行时的结构与运用已有一定基础,本单元将进一步在交通事故这一话题导引下进一步学习其用法及由When 和 While 引导的状语从句。 学习目标导航Listening & Speaking学生能够听懂别人对事故的描述学生能够简单叙述所发生的事故学生能够运用过去进行时对所发生的事情进行口头的表达通过学习,使学生认识到注意安全并遵守交通规
3、则的重要性课堂学习过程课时一导入及热身 Lead-in & Warming up-ask and answer(图片给短语,学生说句子)设计意图:此环节学生训练使用过去进行时表达并在最后一张图片部分导入本单元教学,上课开口表达帮助学生很快进入教学状态。一、Listen and underline the correct words. A2 on P64 inyour book.温馨提示: 学友作选择,学师作评价。设计意图:本活动要求学生集中注意力听一段对话,准确捕捉问题答案,进一步熟悉与话题相关的信息,同时,培养学生的听力预判能力。二、Listen and choose the best an
