1、The reading claims that teamwork is the best way to carry on a project. While the lecturer in the listening passage hold a contrasting standpoint that people assembling in a team will cause less benefit than individual work because there are situations in which the group cant just work out normally.
2、The first concern of the reading is that with more people gathering in a team, the team is more likely to include people with wide range of knowledge and practical experiences and skills. The lecturer, however, states the fact that those people possessing outstanding knowledge in the team, namely, t
3、he real contributors will not be recognized by their name because the good result and the honor of the teamwork will always be shared by the whole team even with those who dont actually contribute much.The next point brought up in the reading is that for a team containing many team members, a decisi
4、on is quicker to be made because every member will try to think out a solution especially those creative ones.While the lecturer offers a different account that morepeople will obviously bring about the problem that it will take a lot longer time to reach consent because every one has to make their
5、democratic voice in the decision before a final agreement is met.In contrast to the point in the reading passage that people will feel more rewarded if they work in a team because they will feel happy for the good result and to be an independent voice maker, the lecturer points out that the influent
6、ial persons in the team will to some extent, have the power to convince others to conform to or drop a certain decision, thus causing the highly-creative ideas to be ignored. If this ever happens, the members can never feel honored or happy about the teamwork.Overall, the reading and the listening have virtually opposed opinions concerning about the efficiency and the utility of the teamwork.
