23、en you are finished, you will be able to write the rough draft of your essay more quickly than if you didnt have an outline.T: Here is an example of an outline. Please take a close look at it. An article usually has three parts, introduction, main body and conclusion. Each paragraph of the main body

24、 usually has a topic sentence and supporting details that explains the topic sentence.1. Write an introductionT: First, lefs see how an introduction works. The introduction must give a clear idea of what the main body of your article is about. That means what you are going to write and what you are

25、going to solve. There are three requirements for a good introduction. What is article about? Why do we write the article? How do we solve the problem?T: Since the report on bears is in lack of a good introduction, can you add an introduction to the report according the three requirements? Here is an

26、 example.2. Write a good paragraphT: Here comes the main body. How can we write a good paragraph? A good paragraph consists of a topic sentence, the supporting details and the important connecting words. We can say that a good paragraph is a good topic sentence plus the connecting words and the stro

27、ng supporting details.3. Write a good conclusionT: The last part, conclusion. How does a conclusion work? From the chart, we can see that a good conclusion should give a short and strong summary of the main body and express your intention of writing this article.T: There are also three requirements

28、for a good conclusion. A good conclusion should give a short summary of the article, show that the article is important and can call on people to do what you recommended.Step 3 Rewriting.1.
