1、,Unit 1 How can I get there?课时1Lets try & Lets talk教学目标:1.能听、说、认、读单词“ask, sir”。2.能在日常交际中询问别人某物在哪里,并能做出相应的回答,即能够灵活使用句型“Where is?”“Its+方位介词/介词短语”。3.能完成“Lets try”部分的听力任务。4.能听、说、认、读句型:“Where is?”“I want to”“Its”“What a great museum!”。5.提高学生合作学习的能力。教学重点:1.能听、说、认、读单词“ask, sir”。2.灵活运用句型询问别人某物的具体位置,并能做回应。教学

2、难点:1.能在日常交际中询问别人某物在哪里,并能做出相应的回答,即能够灵活使用句型“Where is ?”“Its+方位介词/介词短语”。2.能、听、说、认、读句型“Where is ?”“Its+方位介词”“I want to ”“What a great museum!”。教学准备:人物头饰、单词卡片、教学光盘教学过程:Step 1: Warm-up城市设计师。同学二人一组,一人边问边摆放建筑,一人自己设计建筑的位置,老师给每个小组一张一样的小纸条,纸条上用英语描述着建筑的位置,同桌小组一边问答,一边讨论位置,看看哪个小组最先将城市建好。Step 2: Presentation1. Sin

3、g the song “Where is the hospital?”,带动学习英语的氛围。2.介绍“Lets talk”部分的背景,并准备播放听力。Wu Yifan and Robin are in the museum. They are looking for museum shop and post office. Lets see whats going on.播放听力,听第一遍时,跟读录音,模仿听力中的语音语调,做到准备发音,听第二遍时,思考以下问题:(1) Where is the museum shop? What does Wu Yifan want to buy?(2) W

Why does he want to find the post office?播放第三遍听力,学生回答出提出的问题,并思考对话的大概意思。3.教师讲解的时候,要将本课时需认读的单词提前讲解。4.根据所听录音,小组间相互模仿语音对话,并戴上人物头饰,进行情景表演,教师予以点评。Step 3: Consolidation and extension1.完成“Lets try”部分的听力任务。Wu Yifan and Robin are looking at some robots.思考:“Where are they?”“Is Grandpa

8、来询问和回答目标位置。教学难点:能灵活运用所学句型来询问和回答目标位置。教学准备:单词卡片、教学光盘教学过程:Step 1: Warm-up1.播放本单元歌曲“Where is the hospital?”大家先跟着一起唱,进入英语课堂学习氛围。2.我做你说小游戏。教师拿出道具橡皮和书,根据橡皮和书的位置关系,复习三、四、五年级学习过的方位介词如:in, on, under, near, beside等。Step 2: Presentation1.教师出示一张电影院的图片,并问学生“Whats this?”学生回答“Its a cinema.”以同样的方式教授新单词“science museu

9、m”“post office”“bookstore”“cinema”“hospital”。2.学生开火车读新单词,教师拿出单词卡片教读新单词,并让学生听录音,模仿跟读学习正确的发音和语音语调。3.教师将这些新单词图片放在一幅图中,并设定好位置关系。T: Where is the cinema?Ss: Its next to the bookstore.T: Wheres the bookstore?Ss: Its in front of the science museum.同桌效仿例句,根据图片位置关系,灵活运用方位介词询问所要问的目标,然后找小组上来模拟对话。Step 3: Consoli

Sing the song:“Where is the hospital?”进入英语学习氛围。2.出示本单元所有的单词卡片,学生开火车读单词并说出汉语意思。3.设置情景并讨论,如果大家在小轿车里,出示课件图片“map, compass, GPS, stars”,让大家讨论这里面哪一样工具可以帮忙找到所到地方的准确位置。小组讨论并展示交流成果,教师引导学生回答:GPS can help us find a place。Step 2: Presentation1.结合图片,先粗略地将短文浏览一遍,在略读之前,可看下后面的练习,教师介绍阅读背景。Wu Yifa
