Its my great honor to be here to share my lesson with you,the content of my lesson is Senior English for China ,Book5 ,Unit 5 ,First aid inorder to make my presentation much clear,Im going to divide my plan into the following 7 aspects:they are Analysis of the teaching materia
2、l,Analysis of the students,Teaching aims,Teaching important and difficult points,Teaching methods,Teaching procedures,and finally showing blackboard design.1.Now, let me talk about the teaching material first,This unit is about First aid,the passage is the second period of the unit,by studying of th
3、is lesson, we will enable students to know how to perform first aid procedures for burns and do first aid calmly during an emergency, therefore, this lesson is in the important position of this unit. 2. Analysis of the studentsAs Senior2 students in my school, most of them have never learned English
4、 in junior high school , so the tasks I set shouldnt be too difficult.The students have previewed the reading part before the lesson and learnt new words, so during the teaching, we have no new words.3. Teaching aimsAccording to the new standard curriculum and the syllabus (新课程标准和教学大纲), after studyi
5、ng the teaching material, based on the characteristics of the selected material and the students, set the teaching aims as follows:Help students master the key words and useful sentences.Help students to read the passage and master the first aid method of burn.Help students to read the passage in ce
6、rtain ways so as to improve their reading ability.4. the important and difficult pointsThe important point is help students master the useful sentences and understand the dialogue.The difficult point is help students read the passage in certain ways so as to improve their reading ability5. Teaching
7、methodsHere comes the teaching method,To achieve the teaching aims and deal with the important and difficult points, I will use the following methods to conduct my students: Task-based approach: teacher will ask students to complete the tasks , It offers the students an opportunity to complete the t
8、asks, and students learn about the knowledge through the task.Demonstration teaching method: it establishes a real scene and the interaction between the teacher and the students. 6. Teaching procedures the next step is teaching procedures,It consists of 7 steps. Revision, lead in,skimming, detail re
9、ading testing,extension and homework.Step1 revision, it takes about 3 minutesShow a picture about the most beautiful teacher zhanglili, then ask students 2 questions about this unit, finally, I will introduce the topic of this unit: first aid.Write down “first aid” on the blackboard.through watch th
10、ese pictures, ask students to answer these questions: 1when do people need first aid,2 who needs first aid, 3why do people need first aid, and what is first aid. in order to remind students of what the first aid is and review the warming up。Step2 lead in, it takes about 2 minutes, show students a pi
11、cture, and ask them to answer two questions according to the picture. 1.What happened to the little girl? 2.What kind of first aid would you give in this situation?Purpose of this design is to introduce the title of this passage, which lead to the topic “First Aid for Burns” then add “for burns” to
12、first aid. In this part it is important to arouse students curiosities, prepared well for the reading.Step3 skimming, it takes about 3 minutesThis task is to check the Ss skimming ability. The purpose is to let the Ss get the main idea of the passage and what the text is about, and tell students, so
13、metimes in a passage the first sentence in each paragraph is the key sentence.Step4 detail reading,20What are the functions of skin? Fill in the blanks. Causes of burns, three questions about types and characteristics of burns.In this part, four reading tasks are designed, which are carried out in d
14、ifferent reading forms. It is mainly to find relevant information about burns, so that students can understand the details of each part, To understand the function of the skin, the cause of the burn and the type of burn, and to train the students reading skills.这一部分设计了四个阅读任务,分别以不同的阅读形式进行,主要在于寻找有关烧伤的
15、相关信息,让学生了解了各部分的细节,明白皮肤的功能,烧伤的原因和烧伤的类型,训练了学生的查读技巧。Step5 testing 7Here comes to the testing, the suitable things in first aid treatment of burns, what kind of burn is it, true or false. Fill in the blanks about first aid for burns.The answers are based on this passage, and the tasks ranged from simple
16、 to difficult, meet the ability of most students.Step6 extension 7This activity is based on the text content, but not limited to it, the purpose is to broaden the horizons of students,extend the learning from the class to the extra curricular, and provide oral language for students,realized the tran
17、sformation from knowledge to skills.此活动基于课文内容,但又不局限于课文内容,目的在于扩宽学生的视野。把学习从课内扩展到课外,并为学生提供了口头表达能力的机会,实现了知识到技能的转化。The third task, Heimlich maneuver, Ask two students to demonstrate, one student choose a partner, the other demonstrate with a cute Pikachu, then compare the two groups, after that, teacher
18、detailedly introduce the Heimlich maneuver, Make sure that all the students master this first aid method. Step7 homework 2Here comes the homework, teach your family members to master Heimlich maneuver, purpose of this design is to spread the first aid method, so that more people can be saved.7. blac
19、kboard designThe last part of this lesson is blackboard design, the title is in the middle, on a sign of first aid, and four parts to present my contents of this class, the first part is the functions of the skin, the second part is causes of the burns, the third part is the types and characteristic
