指责/控告某人,符合要求;scold “责备;指责”和for连用;remind sb. of 提醒某人;tell sb. of 告诉某人,均不合句意。3D。 the former.the latter.
Its likely to do. 很可能;possibly和perhaps都是副词,不作表语,probable只用于“Its probable that.”

set about当“着手”讲应用set about doing,故排除A项;set aside意为“放在一边,存储”,意思不符;set out to do sth. “that he.New York”是think的真正宾语,由于它在necessary之后,从句谓语动词应用(should)动词原形,故排除A;再从语态上可排除D;答语中的表语从句是个省略句,但不缺少成分,故选t
、hat,排除C。14C。 根据下文的you can eat whatever you want 可以吃任何你想吃的,可知在宫殿
、ut可以看出,根据句意,该句与下文“he felt a bit lonely and void. stra
、er up 使振奋;Never mind没关系,均不符合句意。17. A。 could not bear 不能忍受。 So he went to the owner and groaned告诉我们:他去找过他的主人,这里表达的意思是:他再一次去找主人。 no longer 不再;also 也;still 仍然。
