1、1Ladies and gentlemen,welcome to visit Jinsi Grand Canyon Scenic Spot.Jinsi Grand Canyon is located in Shangnan County,Shaanxi Province,on the southeast of Qinling Mountains.Its famous fornarrow gorge,quiet environment,and variety of wild animals.The canyon is covered by green forests,and boasts cle
2、ar riversand grand waterfalls.It is a great place to escape summer heat and for rafting.Currently,four core sectors in the canyon have been opened to tourists,which are the Danjiang River Source,Black DragonGorge,Stone Swallow Village,and White Dragon Gorge from south to north.There is also a Green
3、Dragon Gorge,but it is notopened to tourists.THe Danjiang River SourcePassing through the South Gate of the Jinsi Grand Canyon Scenic Area,you will come to the Danjiang River Source.Thisarea features waterfalls and streams,such as Double Waterfall and the Dan Fish Lake.Double Waterfall plunges plndz
4、 from2a 11-yards-high cliff and is divided into two parts by rocks halfway down.The Dan River Fish Lake not only plays an importantrole in intercepting mudslides mdsladz but is also a great fishing spot.Black Dragon GorgeAn old saying goes that“one who has never been to Black Dragon Gorge is not con
5、sidered to have come to Jinsi GrandCanyon”.Black Dragon Gorge,to the northeast of the Danjiang River Source,is characterized by deep valleys and various karstkst caves,including Lovers Valley,Crescent kresnt Valley,Golden Lion Cave and Maitreya Buddha Cave.There is a beautiful legend about Lovers Va
6、lley.A poor guy fell in love with the daughter of a rich man.They often met in thevalley and pledged pled to marry.Unfortunately,the rich man strongly disagreed and asked his servants to beat up the guy.Indespair dspe,the guy jumped into the valley.The daughter was so sad that she also jumped into t
7、he valley to follow her lover.Later,in honor of their love,people called it Lovers Valley.Walking to the west of Lovers Valley,visitors will see Crescent Valley,which is so named because it looks like a crescentmoon.Crescent Gorge is the best place to enjoy Narrow Gorge landform.Near Lovers Valley a
8、nd Crescent Gorge,you will find Golden Lion Cave and Maitreya Buddha Cave.Golden Lion Cave isan above ground karst cave as well as a Buddhist holy place,displaying calcite stones in various animal shapes,including lions,turtles,and crocodiles.Maitreya Buddha Cave is famous for its Maitreya-shaped st

10、e slp.The village iscomposed of five big steps.The South Heavenly Gate,the only strategic pass to climb up the Village,is on the first step.Themain part of the village is distributed on the second step,which is a Taoist holy place and where the Black Tortoise ttsTemple was built.On the highest step
11、stands Jade Emperor Peak from where you can look into the distance.White Dragon GorgeWhite Dragon Gorge,in the north of Jinsi Grand Canyon,stretches in the shape of an“S”with a length of 1.6 miles.It is richin picturesque pktresk peaks and fantastic rocks.There is a rare landscape:two trees grow up
12、from two stones.Both two trees root in stones and their branches areblooming up to the sky.In addition to peaks and rocks,White Dragon Gorge enjoys a beautiful lake,White Dragon Lake,which covers an area of 7acres eks.Around the lake,a park is built for people to enjoy a variety of entertainment ent
