2、e admits to being strict with her children.她成认对自己的孩子很严厉。Dont be afraid to admit to your mistakes.不要怕认错。审视过去的作用是能帮你从错误中吸取教力lloThey were strict about our appearance inasmuch as we werent allowed to wear jewellery or make-up.他们对我们的外貌要求很严格，因为我们不允许戴珠宝或化 妆。Ann is guiltyjnasmuch as she knew what the others

4、我就能完成这项工作了。今天解析：名词（短语）+and+句子这个用法有两种情况：1.名词（短语）用作状语有时表示条件。相当于：If you give me one more hour and I II get the work finished.再如:Small pains, small gains.少劳少得。这类用法还经常见于表示祈使意义的名词（短语） +and+简单句这类结构。如：One more word and you will be thrown out of the ship.再说一句话，就把你扔下船。One more week, and we will accomplish the
5、 task.再给我们一周我们就能完成任务。相当于： Give us one more week and we will accomplish the task.可以考虑为这是一祈使句的缩写形式。即祈使句+ and/or+ 简单句。这里的祈使句就缩写成了名词短语。Another word and Iz II knock you flat!再说一句，我就揍扁你！注意：此时and后的句子一般都是一般将来时。1. A word, and he would lose his temper.哪怕只说一个字,他也会生气。第二种用法是一个含蓄虚拟语气句子,句意为哪怕只说一个 字，他也会生气，相当于：If an
6、yone said a word, he would lose his temper.所谓含蓄虚拟语气就是指将虚拟条件隐藏在一定的上下文 中,而不直接用条件句表现出来.请再看几个类似的例子（均属 名词+and结构型的含蓄虚拟语气）：One more step,and T d beat you flat.=If you took one more step,I would beat you flat. 如果你再走一步，我就把你揍扁了。Such words again, and I would hit you again.你再说那样的话，我就会再揍你。=If you said such words
7、 again, I would hit you again.One more step, and I would shoot.你再往前走一步,我就开枪了。=If you moved one more step, I would shoot.One more drink, and I would have been drunken.当时我要是再多喝一杯，我就会醉了。=If I had had one more drink, I would have been drunken.A few hours earlier, and you would have seen the famous write

14、 excuse.你的过失不容辩白。The rights and wrongs of the case are perfectly clear and admit of no dispute.这件事情是非清楚，无可争辩。The regulations admit of no variation,这些规那么不容许改变。It admits of no excuse.这是不容辩白的。This question admits of several answers.这个问题容许有几个答案。I think that I am going to pass my exam this weekend inasmu

17、为的那种原因，下面这个例子不适宜 用：I cannot speak Spanish inasmuch as I did not learn the Spanish language as a child.在这种情况下，你不可以使用inasmuch asH因为这是个事实，我确实没学西班牙语，不是我认为，所以 只能使用because.I cannot speak Spanish because I did not learn the Spanish language as a child.我不能教西班牙语，因为作为一个孩子我没有学过西班牙语。 我们使用这2个词组来引导证据证明自己说的话是对的。也
