1、Unit 4 My home A Lets spell Analysis of teaching material: The learning content of this lesson is the pronunciation rules of “u-e”. By studying this lesson, students are able to read words that conform to the pronunciation rules of “u-e” and they can spell words that match pronunciation rules of “u-

2、e”. Students can read and write the words when they see and listen to them. It is an improvement of English ability. Analysis of the students: Our students are in Grade4. They are active and curious, interested in new things. They like learning English in different activities. After learning English

3、 for one year, they grasp the basic pronunciation of 26 letters and the pronunciation rules of “a”, “e”, “i”,“o”,“u” in the words. After learning the first three units in grade4, students grasp the pronunciation rules of “a-e”, “i-e”,“o-e”. So it is not difficult for them to learn this lesson. Teach

4、ing objectives: 1. Ss will be able to listen, say, read and write the words, “cute”, “use” and “excuse” while experiencing the pronunciation of “u-e”. 2. Ss can use the rule of spelling of “u-e”to spell other simple words. And Ss will have a good understanding the differences of pronunciation betwee

5、n u and u-e. 3. Ss can develop their interest in learning English and self-confidence through the discovery of learning methods. IV Teaching important points and difficulties : Important points: 1. Ss grasp the pronunciation rule of “u-e” in the words. 2. Ss can grasp the words, “cute”, “use” and “e

6、xcuse” while experiencing the pronunciation of “u-e”. 3. Ss can write the words “duck, cute, up, use” correctly. Difficulties: 1. Ss can use the rule of spelling of “u-e”to spell other simple words. 2. Ss can perform the story. V Teaching methods: Observation method, induction method, cooperating st
