1、教学设计大赛说课稿 教学设计大赛说课稿 Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, dear judges: My name is Liu Xu, and Im Contestant No .Its a pleasure for me to present my teaching idea here.My presentation is based on Unit 8 in Base Module One.Im going to talk about my teaching plan from six parts: Analysis of students, ana
2、lysis of teaching material, teaching objects, teaching procedure, teaching reflection and blackboard design.Part 1 Analysis of students Listening and speaking has been a weak point in English teaching for vocational school students due to their poor vocabulary and structure knowledge .They are lack
3、of good learning habit and effective learning strategy.Most of them tend to learn English just by imitating and memorizing.They are not so active and confident in cla, but they have a strong desire to be a succeful learner.Part 2 Analysis of teaching material Unit 8 How can I get to the nearest bank
4、? in Base Module One is focused on asking and giving directions.My leon is the first period of this unit to practice students listening and speaking skills.The key points lie in applying the expreions about asking and giving directions to communicate.Students may find it difficult to make conversati
5、ons by using these expreions.Part 3 Teaching objects The knowledge objects are to enable students to master and use appropriately the words and phrases about places, location and traffic , apply the imperative sentences to give directions and have a good command of the useful expreions like “ How ca
6、n I get to ”, “Walk along” etc . The ability objects are to train students abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing, especially listening and speaking. The aim of learning strategy is to accelerate students to learn by interaction, application and cooperation and help them to transform
7、language knowledge into abilities . Cultural awarene is to develop the spatial awarene in the western culture and their cro-cultured communication. Moral & emotional objects are to cultivate students to ask for help and respond in good manners and foster their abilities in cooperation and problem-so
8、lving.Part 4 Teaching procedure:(8 steps) Step 1 Lead-in 1) Free talk about travelling 2) Students watch a video clip to get them to realize various means of transportation make the world small, but they may get lost when they come to a strange place.3) Then students have a brainstorm to find out th
9、e solutions when they get lost.Present “read a map, ask the way”.Purpose of my design: 1 To create relaxed and lively atmosphere in cla To activate students schemata with the familiar topic To cultivate the ability to think and solve problems independently Step 2 Talk and match 1) Read the map of a
10、street and talk about what they can see in the map. Present the new words: bank, croroads, traffic light etc.2) Do Activity 1 to practice the new words Purpose of my design: To present new words in the authentic scene and help students have a better understating of the meaning To improve learning st
11、rategy of vocabulary To prepare students for listening and speaking activities Step 3 Listen and repeat Have students discu how to ask the way.Play a video clip to help students summarize the expreions.Then get students to repeat and memorize.Purpose of my design: To improve students learning strate
12、gy by listening , imitating and summarizing To provide a real scene by adopting audio-visual method Step 4 Look and practice 1) Show a group of flash about giving directions and practice the expreions “walk along” “turn right” etc 2) Play a game:Do As Instructions .Divide students into two groups.On
13、e group gives directions and the other responds by walking in the “claroom street.” Purpose of my design: To make the cla lively and interesting and attract students attention To enhance the understanding and application of the target language by using situational teaching method To encourage every
14、student to participate by cooperative interaction Step 5 Listening and Gue Show the flash of a street map and play a game: Gue where he is.One group gives the direction and the other guees where he will get to according to the instructions.Give the winner a smile face and a big hand.Purpose of my de
15、sign: To have a competition to arouse students interest and stimulate motivation for succe To accelerate students to apply what has been learned in authentic situation Step 6: Dialogue A Activity 3 Get students to listen and find out the places mentioned in the conversation. Activity 4 Get the stude
16、nts to listen to the conversation again and complete it.Then act it out in pairs. 2 Purpose of my design: To improve students listening abilities for the gist and important details To reinforce practice on the functional items To have a succeful consolidation and a timely aement Step 7: Role play Dr
17、aw a street map around our school and ask students to choose a place they want to go, making a conversation with their partners.Then ask some pairs to have a performance.Purpose of my design: Task-based and communicative methods are used here to stimulate students initiative in learning and to devel
18、op their abilities in cooperation, application and communication To achieve moral targets and cultivate cultural awarene To make students the real masters in cla and bring their abilities into full play Step 8: Aignment 1.Ask students to draw a map of the streets around their houses ,mark the names
19、of the streets and buildings and write out the ways to their houses.2、Show the map to their partners and tell them how to get to their homes.2.Do Activity 5 in the textbooks.Read and underline the expreions about asking and giving directions.Purpose of my design: To do extensive exercises after cla
20、to consolidate the knowledge learned in cla To optimize students learning result by communication in real life To form independent learning habit and effective learning strategies Part 5 Teaching reflection 1) Teaching orientation and methods This leon has been laid special emphasis on the applicati
21、on of words and expreions regarding asking and giving directions.The Situational , Task-based , Communicative and audio-visual , activity-based teaching methods are mainly used to arouse students interest , stimulate students initiative in learning and develop their abilities in communication, appli
22、cation and cooperation.2) Teaching strategies and effect In pre-task , the authentic scene of the street is established in the claroom with seat arrangement and a free talk is designed to activate students schemata to prepare students for the new task.In the while-task phase, various activities such
23、 as discuion, games, group work, pair work, performance are designed and different means as audio, video, pictures ,flash are used to make the task-based claroom a lively and rich language environment for learners of all abilities.In post-task, students have a role play to make conversations in real
24、 life to enhance production and further application and stimulate their motivation for English learning.The whole teaching 3 procedure is based on “Learning by doing and learning for doing”.3) Teaching aids: Computer-aisted Instruction is used in the course of this leon.I make full use of multimedia
25、 teaching equipments to stimulate students senses and optimize teaching effect. 4) Teaching aement Activity-based teaching makes students the real masters and the centre in cla while the teacher should act as the director, organizer and referee to provide feedback on how well each task has been comp
26、leted.The teacher should show enough acceptance and respect to students to help them gain the feeling of succe and self-esteem.Self-aement and aement between students are also adopted through competitive activities.Part 6 Blackboard design Unit 8 How can I get to the nearest bank?
