It is recently reported that the number of those sticking to a traditional diet is slowly declining and around half of Britains consumers would like to change or improve their cooking in some way. There has been a rise in the number of students applying for food courses at UK universities and
4、colleges. It seems that TV programmes have helped change what people think about cooking.According to a new study from market analysts, 1 in 5 Britons say that watching cookery programmes on TV has encouraged them to try different food. Almost one third say they now use a wider variety of ingredient
5、s (酉己 料)than they used to, and just under 1 in 4 say they now buy better quality ingredients than before. One in four adults say that TV chefs have made them much more confident about expanding their cookery knowledge and skills, and young people are also getting more interested in cooking. The UKs

Studies of big eaters.文章分析全文只有三段话,一眼扫过去最后一段的长度是最长的,而且有许多 数字在里面,明显是细节段落,所以可以迅速判断文章主题一定在全文第 一段,因为文章的主题或主旨的判断主要靠开头结尾和标题。在第一段里
9、会看到两个转折逻辑标志词but和even though ,理解难度是比较低的。“但是英国食物真的如此无趣吗”,正确理解一定是“英国 食物不但不无趣,而且非常有趣”。在even though的逻辑中,“即使、即便、 虽然”的半句可以直接忽略,你要关注的是另外半句话“出现了更多顶级厨 师”,后面的从句只是对顶级厨师的补充细节描述而已,同样可以忽略。所 以如果要在第一段里把握文章主题,只需要看两句话14个字:But is British food really so uninteresting?producing more top class chefs文章的主题就是:英国食物好、英国厨师好。三段话
10、的文章不太可能 出现任何观点或情节的逆转,扫一下下面的两段,也没有在段首出现明显 的转折逻辑,所以全文的阅读到此为止就可以结束了。解题思路28题细节题第一段这种提问大众普遍观点的题目在阅读理解中出现的频率非常高,需要各位理解的内在逻辑就是,所谓的长期观点、大众观点、普遍观点,一定 与作者在文章里呈现的观点是相反的,否则这篇文章没有任何写作意义。一个所有人都有共同认知的话题,如果你没有某些不同的认知,何必要去 特意写一篇文章呢?所以文章的主题是“英国食物好、英国厨师好、大众普遍观点就是“英国食物不好、英国厨师不好,你在题目里选择的一定应该是负态度选项, 由此排除正态度的B选项营养丰富和D选项“很
11、高口碑。剩下的A选项和C选项就比较容易排除了,第一段的重点信息对英国 食物的描述使用的形容词是uninteresting,明显对应的是A选项“简单、平 淡无奇”。C选项“缺乏真实的口味”其实有点令人费解,食物不好吃很容易 理解,但是缺乏真实的口味是什么意思呢?食物虚假的口味又是什么味道29题细节题第二段去文章第二段能够很容易地找到最后一句总结性的话语“电视节目改变了人们的看法”,由此选出D选项“有影响力的,应该也没有难度。但是, 这并非我要说的重点。题目让你用某个形容词去描述电视烹饪节目,那么一定是这个节目核心最重要的性质。由此首先排除C选项“赢利的、有利润的、这是一个和钱密切相关的选项,这个
12、节目最重要的性质就是挣钱吗?这道题和这篇 文章是不是缺少了点高度?高考阅读理解适合传递这样的价值观吗?接下来排除的是A选项“权威的”,我们生活的这个时代获取信息的途 径如此之多,电视上的内容早就不再是权威的代表了,也不可能让观众或 从业人员俯首是从。另外,俗话说“文无第一,武无第二”,烹饪、雕塑、 绘画、音乐这些各花入各眼的专业技术,如果有所谓的“权威扼杀的就 是无数创新的可能性,同时也就失去了它原有的魅力。这道题合理的选项只有B选项“创新的”和D选项“有影响力的”。如果 选择B选项,文章里对应的就是很多推陈出新相关的描述,如果选择D选 项,文章里对应的就是很多变化相关的内容。各位再去扫一眼文
13、章第二段,becoming more adventurous is slowly declining、change or improve arise in the number change,所有这些词,都在指向正确的D选项。30题细节题第三段阅读理解里出现和数据相关的问题需要注意两点:1、找到数据对应的 准确细节位置;2、注意是否需要对数据进行简单的运算。题目问至V使用 多种配料的人员比例”,“配料”一词在文章里有中文注释,非常容易定位到 关键细节“三分之一的人说现在使用的配料比以往更加多样化”。三分之一 就是约33%,答案选择D选项。这就完了?这真的就完了这就是我在第一次面对这道题时的真实
14、感受。高考阅读理解的C篇出 这种题是不是太没难度太没档次太没水平了?想来想去,这道题唯一的意 义就是题干里的diverse”和文章里的a wider variety of两个核心词汇的 同义改写对应关系,以及对分数表述“one third”的正确理解。除此以外, 我真的想不出来为什么这道题会存在,命题者到底是咋想的呢?31题主旨题提问文章目前不存在的后续部分属于阅读理解比较创新的题目,解题 思路只有一条:写什么内容都可以,但是一定要和文章主题关系密切。这 篇文章的主题是“英国食物好、英国厨师好,那么接下来的内容一定要延 续这个主题。从这个思路出发,A选项其它国家的烹饪艺术”、C选项“英国的餐桌
15、 礼仪”和D选项研究大胃王”均与主题毫无关联,能选择的只有B选项电 视节目上的男厨师”。这就是主旨题用文章主题秒杀的思路。全文295字,你真正只需要重点阅读14个字,就可以基本胜任题目 的要求,这就是百文斩需要你熟悉的阅读篇章应对思路。全文翻译What comes into your mind when you think of British food?
