2、utionized their sports.American Sports Legends highlights four athletes of tremendous character who left behind inspiring legacies.Overcoming obstacles such as discrimination,physical limitations,and sexism,these legends proved that,with passion and commitment,anything is possible.The books and less

3、on are available for levels W and Z1.Guiding the ReadingBefore ReadingBuild Background Writethewordcommitment on the board and read it aloud to students.Have students work in small groups to discuss the meaning of the word commitment.Point out that commitment means dedication or determination.Provid

4、e students with a sheet of lined paper and have them free write about an example of commitment in their own lives.Have them consider what goals they were working toward,the obstacles they faced,and why they continued even when it became difficult.Invite students to share their responses in small gro
