1、M8 Time offUnit 2 We thought somebody was moving about一、教学目标：1 .能理解阅读材料的特殊信息。2 .能明白事情发展的先后顺序。3 .能写一个小短文，使用that。二、学情分析：对于八年级的学生来说，部分学生已经有了一定的英语学习基础，掌握了一点 英，美国家日常生活中的不同传统特点,但总体上来说，还比较少.本单元以电子邮 件的形式与学生的生活紧密相连，也是他们很感兴趣的话题，基于现实生活，引导 学生在课堂上发挥丰富的想象力，把课堂模拟成生活，置身于英语学习中，提高语 言交际能力.词汇量和信息量可能会偏大,加之学生英语成绩的分化比较严重，
2、所 以要求学生能课前认真做好预习，培养自学能力;教师在预设的任务中，注意引导 学生在交际中动态生成，学生有话可说,乐于合作分享.这样就有利于他们更好的 运用课本知识，达到提高综合运用语言能力的目的。将在今后的教学中注意控制 自己的情绪，关心学生，尤其差生，同他们交朋友歧视他们，不动辄呵斥他们， 鼓励他们的学习自信心和学习热情。让他们在自信中学习，在快乐步。 三、重点难点：1 .宾语从句的初步认识。2,掌握一些重要词组、句型。四、教学过程4.1教学目标1 .核心内容：Key vocabulary: square, kilometers, shape, human, wake, somebody,
