1、浅谈中学生英语写作能力的培养与提高,2 中学生英语写作能力培养的策略研究书面表达在中考、高考中都占有相当大的比重,而很多学生在此方面丢分甚多,以致影响最终总分,因此提高学生写作实力势在必行。在考试中最常见的形式是要求学生依据所给信息(information)和思想(idea)来作文,亦称为情景作文或提示作文,而学生对于语言要素综合应用的实力较弱,写出的东西往往是不符合英语表达习惯的中文式英语。作为一名英语老师,就必需常常提示学生留意这一问题,有意识地让学生逐步接受英语表达的思维方式,久而久之学生才能写出比较地道的英语,少犯甚至不犯Chinese English 的错误。故书面表达训练从初二下学
2、期就应起先,并逐步强化提高,最终达到应考要求。在此就自己日常教学中的阅历浅谈如何提中学学生英语写作实力,最终达到All roads lead to Rome 的目的。一、 驾驭写作技能,知道该怎样动手。写作和其他笔头练习,如造句、填空、改错等有根本的区分。写作要求表达清晰而完整的思想,主要目的是提高学生用英语表达思想的实力,写作涉及的问题许多,除了语言各方面的问题外,还有思想内容和所用材料、组织条理、书写格式等,都须要细致考虑,仔细对待。1、 驾驭各种体裁文章格式(1) 记叙文(Narration)这是最普遍、最基本的一种文体。写作中应遵循以下几点。1交待要素,即人、时、地、事。2按事务发生的
3、先后依次叙述完整、详细。3要重点突出,目的明确。记叙文所记的都是过去发生的事,原则上通常用过去时态写。(2) 说明文(Exposition)、描写文(Description)这是英文常见的两种文体,以解说和描述为主要表达方式。(3) 日记 (Diary)这是把自己当天生活中经验的有意义的事以及见闻或感受记录下来的书面形式。文体自由,通常用第一人称写。格式如下:a. Oct 26 , 1999 Wednesday FineIt is two months since I began this diary.b. Friday May 1st CloudyToday is May Day (留意:常
4、用以表示天气的词有Fine, Cloudy, Rainy, Windy, Snow等)(4)书信(letters)一般分为私人信函(Personal letters)和正式信函(Business letters)。英文书信从信封到正文,其格式与汉语有很多不同。书信由以下几个部分构成:a. 信头(Heading)寄信人地址和写信日期,写在信封右上角,地址由小到大。例:NO. 19 Middle School320 DenShan RoadNanChang, JiangXiChina, 330006August 28 2000b. 信内地址(Inside address)收信人姓名、地址在左上方,
5、位置比信头低一至二行。私人信件一般不写信内地址。c. 称呼(Greeting/Salution)d. 正文(Body)e. 结束语(Ending)f. 签名(Signature)(5)通知和便条(Notice , Note)一般至少有口头通知、书面通知两种形式,至少包括3项内容:1、时间,2、地点,3、活动内容。便条一般有留言条,请假条。特点是:格式简洁,开宗明义,三言两语。例如:a. Attention, please. I have something to tell youb. NoticeAll the League Members are requested to meet in c
6、lassroom 403 on Monday(Sep. 25th) at 5:00 to discuss the sports meeting.c. TELEPHONE MESSAGEFrom: LiLei To: TomDate: Sep. 19th Time: 8:00 a.m.Message: Please go to the museum with LiLei tomorrow at 9:00 by bus.(6)其它除上述常见文体外,还有补全对话,电话对话,寻物启事等。学生要驾驭上述文体格式,尤其是考试常用文体,如书信、日记、通知、记叙文、留言条等。2从基本句型、词组入手,完成文章。
7、任何文章都由句子组成,句子又由词组、基本句型构成。驾驭好词组、基本句型,再配上合适的时态,一篇文章就基本完成。这是几年教学实践中获得的切实可行的方法。初三作文以初中英语复习指导72页一篇文章为例。12月21日是星期天,天气晴朗。上午9:00你在去看电影的路上遇到一位外宾。他不知道去邮局怎么走,显得很焦急。你走上前告知他怎么走,他很感谢。虽然你看电影迟到了,但你并不介意,你为能用英语与外国人交谈感到兴奋。字数40-60个。首先,依据题目信息,可列出下列短语:December 21st, on my way to the cinema, at 9:00,meet a foreign visitor
8、, go over, get to the post office, look worried,thank you, be late for the film, be glad, talk with, in English有了这些短语,再配上正确的时态与文章格式,此篇书面表达就一蹴而就。e.g.December 21st , Sunday FineWhen I was on my way to the cinema at 9:00. Im glad that I can talk with a foreigner in English.高三作文以高考常用题型解题经典1000例362页一篇文章为例。有一批要到中国投资(invest)的外国企业家在我国某城市参观考察。假定你是接待人员,要向外宾们简要介绍这个城市的概况,请你用英语写一篇100词左右的发言稿,包括以下几点内容:1、 这是一座新兴的现代化城市,
10、建于本世纪80年头初。2、 海陆空交通便利,又有一条与北京相连的高速马路(freeway)正式启用。3、 自然资源(resources)丰富,电力能源足够。4、 社会次序良好,政府多方面支持外国投资者。一拿到题,大部分学生肯定会愣住,怎么办?别急,列出信息中的信息,问题可迎刃而解。词组有:ladies and gentleman, a new modern city, set up,the early 1980s, by air, by sea, by land, another freeway, be used,connect with, be rich in, natural resour
11、ces, energy resources,support foreign visitors.词组列出后,推断体裁是发言稿,可用一般现在时来书写,把句子组合一番后,文章即可大体成型。e.g.Ladies and Gentleman,Welcome to our city. Now let me introduce our city to you.
