1、警务英语口语教学大纲课程编号:/2/3总学时数:102学时一、 课程性质、目的和要求1.课程性质 本课程是专为行政管理专业涉外警务管理方向的学生开设的一门通修课程。课程结合了基础英语和警务英语的特点,注重培养学生的语言运用能力和跨文化交际能力。2.课程目的和要求本课程的教学目的是通过大量的日常生活口语和警务英语口语的练习和实践,逐步培养和提高学生用英语进行口头交际的能力,尤其是提高学生的公安业务英语口语的水平,同时帮助学生了解主要英语国家的文化背景和生活习俗。通过本课程的学习,学生应能就日常生活中的一般情景进行恰当的交谈;具有使用警务英语口语的能力,能解决公安实战中的具体问题;能就社会生活中的
2、一般话题进行连贯的发言;能比较准确地表达思想,做到语音、语调、语法正确,语言运用恰当得体。3.本课程与相关课程的联系英语语言的五种技能听说读写译是个统一的整体。口语是有声的语言,是言语的输出过程。说是在听的基础发展起来的,它们是口语交际中密切相关,形式却截然不同的行为过程。本课程建立在大学英语警务英语听力课程基础上。二、教学内容、要点和课时安排本课程课堂教学安排一个半学年,分三个学期,计划用时94学时,每周2学时,考前辅导答疑课时8学时。本课程着重培养学生在日常生活中和公安实战中的交际能力和叙述能力,培养学生就社会生活话题进行交谈和连贯表达的能力以及解决公安实战中具体问题的能力。对学生在各个学
3、期的口语能力具体要求如下:1. 通过第一学期的学习,学生应能运用简单的日常英语和警务英语进行对话,熟悉简单的警务英语术语,并能就所听、读的材料回答问题及复述,做到语音、语调、语法基本正确。2. 通过第二学期的学习,学生应能就一般日常生活话题进行简单的交谈;能运用警务英语解决一般涉外问题;能就一般日常生活和社会生活话题经一定的准备后,作1-2分钟的连贯性发言和交谈。3. 通过第三学期的学习,学生应能就熟悉的日常生活和社会生活话题略作准备后作3-5分钟的连贯性发言;能就公安工作问题同英语国家人士交谈,比较准确地表达思想,语言基本得体。 大学警务英语口语教程具体教学内容如下:CONTENTS Sem
