1、Book 3 Unit 5 Reading A Trip on “The True North”教学设计一、教学分析1.教学课题本课出自人教版普通高中课程标准实验教科书英语(必修3)第5单元加拿大“真北方”阅读课文:“真北方”之旅。Unit 5 Canada “ The True North”Reading A Trip on “The True North”.2.课程类型阅读课3.授课时间40分钟4.理论依据英语教学是一种动态教学或活动教学,教学过程是交际活动过程。只有从组织教学活动入手,大量地进行语言实践,使英语课堂交际化,才能有效地培养学生运用英语进行交际的能力。新课标提出:“外国语是学

2、习文化科学知识,获取世界各方面信息和进行国际交往的重要工具。”“发展听、说、读、写的基本技能,提高初步运用英语进行交际的能力”我结合本班学生的实际,对教材进行了操作性较强的处理。5教材分析 这是一篇游记,记述了李黛予和刘倩去加拿大看望表兄妹的旅途见闻。乘火车横穿加拿大之前,她们的朋友林丹尼向她们介绍了加拿大的概况,包括面积、地貌、城市、人口、生态环境等。一路上,他们看到了加拿大的自然美景、野生动物,并因中途停靠卡尔加里(Calgary)而联想到卡尔加里大赛马会(Calgary Stampede)。加拿大地广人稀,多数人住在美加边境。本文还提到了桑德贝(Thunder Bay),五大湖(the

3、Great Lakes),温哥华(Vancouver)和多伦多(Toronto),并介绍了加拿大的淡水资源。本文对加拿大的介绍涉及面较宽,但都没有详述,这给学生留下了足够的思维空间。阅读部分在整个单元中起着举足轻重的作用,是点睛之笔。6.学情分析经过高一第一学期的英语学习,学生已经掌握了略读、跳读等一定的阅读技巧以及识别关键词、确定主题句、预测等阅读微技能,形成了初步的阅读策略。但部分学生的基础知识仍然较为薄弱,运用英语进行交际活动的能力较差;主动学习的动力不够,然而他们学习比较认真,好胜心强,渴望在班集体里得到他人的承认,很在乎别人对他们的评价;求知欲旺盛,思维比较活跃。部分学生的基础较好,

4、能主动配合老师,愿意开口讲。因此,只有设置使他们感兴趣的活动,因材施教,才能让他们投入到课堂活动中来。7教学重、难点教学重点:对全文大意做整体理解。找出各段的主题句并归纳出本文的中心思想,提高运用英语的综合能力。 教学难点:如何利用略读、查读等阅读技巧和识别关键词、确定主题句、预测等阅读手段形成阅读策略。如何帮助学生运用阅读策略,促进学生自主学习。怎样以阅读课的教学为依托,全面训练学生的听、说、读、写能力。8教学目标知识目标:充分理解课文大意并完成所给的任务,并用所学的英语知识与同学进行交流、沟通,学会交际。能力目标:在运用语言的过程中培养学生的观察力、分析力、想象力和自学能力,帮助学生加强记

5、忆力,提高思维能力和运用英语的综合能力,激发创造能力。情感目标:通过学习本文,使学生了解加拿大的地理环境及多元文化,有助于拓展学生的国际视野,进而增强学生的祖国意识,培养学生的爱国主义情怀。9教学方法我在教学中淡化语言点和语法知识的简单传授,采用任务型教学法和小组合作探究学习法,从而扩大课堂的语料输入量及学生的语言输出量,注重培养学生“课前、课中、课后”良好的学习习惯。我具体采用了以下教学方法:提问法逐步引导,逐渐深入;自主探究法学生实践,巩固提高;归纳法与整理法学生实践,形成积极的抽象思维;讨论法积极参与,总结规律;形成正确的自我评价与相互评价;点拨法展开联想,拓宽思路。10.学法渗透本课我

6、结合活动教学法和任务型教学法,在教学中将学生分成三人一组的学习小组,让学生们在小组中通过合作和探究来完成他们的任务。通过这种形式的教学,学生可以较好地适应将来在校外可能遇到的各种能力差异,使个别差异在集体教学中发挥积极作用。11.教学手段多媒体辅助教学:将本课所需要的动画、录音、图片、文字、图表和音乐制成CAI软件使抽象的语言变得直观,为学生运用英语进行交际创设情景。非测试性评价:本课我将各种活动设计成小组活动和填写课堂自我评价表等非测试性评价手段,帮助学生学会自主学习,学会与人合作,培养创新意识以及具备科学的价值观。二、教学过程Step1Leading - in导入(时间:3分钟)A. White and red are the countrys national colors. The maple leaf stands for all the Canadian people. White parts stand for Canadas large l

12、and covered with white snow. Red parts stand for the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean.8. National emblems:There are two national emblems of Canada. One is the Canadian maple leaf. The best time to see the leaves is autumn when the maple leaves turn hundreds of different colors. The second emblem

13、 is the beaver, a clever and hardworking animal. People like it very much.9. Politics:The political system of Canada is parliamentary democracy. The leader of Canada is called Prime Minister.10. Climate:Since Canada is a large country, its climate is different from area to area. The north is the col

Learning 四、教学反思新颖明快的导入,激发了学生的学习兴趣;层层深入的提问,诱发学生去思索探究;师生互动,生生交流,使课堂气氛热烈而又充满激情。多媒体课件制作精美,引人入胜。板书图画美观、文字简练,板面均衡又不单调,体现了艺术性。学生一看板书就知道文章的段落大意,体现了直观性的特点。尽管我在某些教学环节上处理得还不够完美,但我相信:经过持之以恒地努力,我一定会不断提高自己的教学水平。
