Key words are mainly on description and geography, such as continent, scenery, surround, urban, eastward, harbour, etc. There are some key phrases or structures like rather than, settle down, have a gift for. Also, we can find many noun clauses which Ss (students) have just learned in the former u
4、nits. The value of this text is help Ss know the geography of Canada and feel the beauty of our colorful planet.Student analysis:Many Ss have difficulties understanding the compound sentences. Whats more, most Ss only know basic information about Canada. Getting to know this far-away country will be
