Beautiful language is easy to make people think of good things, so as to make it easier for foreigners to be interested in China scenic spots, and importantly, interested in long historical culture of China. IntroductionThere goes a saying: beauty of the scenery relies on guides eloquence, which reflects to some extent the significance of guides words. The rapid development of tourism ind
12、ustry on a global scale has huge impact on the world economy and culture. So, improve the tourism translation study not only has cultural significance but also has urgent practical significance. Nowadays, the exchanges between countries become more and more closer, tour guide words play an immeasura
13、ble role, therefore improve the quality of tour guide words translation is imperative. Translation is regarded as the bridge of two languages and two cultures,so its concerned about the transformation between languages and cultures. And translation is a much discussed topic today. As a means of comm
14、unication, translation is used for multilingual notices, which has at last appeared increasingly conspicuous in public places. While there exists much differences such as historical backgrounds, religious beliefs, social customs and so forth, misunderstandings or failures in cross-cultural communica

And under the lead of aesthetic theory, some pieces of principles and strategies will be discussed in chapter four, after that, they ar

The Theoretical Basis of Tour Guide Words TranslationWith the development of translation theories in the latter half of the 20th century, it has been generally realized that a single set of rules does not apply t
19、o all types of translations. Various principles and methods about how to translate those have been discussed in history. In china, we discussed broadly and extensively with our three traditional principles for an ideal translation, which is namely faithfulness, smoothness, and elegance, but without
20、ever coming to any conclusion. The formulation of translation theories mainly developed in the Western world.In the latter of the 20th century, there emerged a considerable number of translation theories in the Western country. All the theories were about how to produce an acceptable translation. So
21、me theories were based on logic and philology, others on linguistic. The translation theories contain a wide range of pursuits, attempting to assist the translators by suggesting points of agreements on common translation problems. The main concern of translation theory is to determine the appropria
22、te methods for the widest range of texts or text-categories. It would be more pragmatic to agree that there is no fixed answer which translation theories are better or more effective, but only which are more appropriate in a certain circumstance.2.1 The Representative Figure of Translation Aesthetic
23、s and PrincipleAesthetics is to study the essence and significance of beauty, which is a branch of philosophy. The main research object is the art, not on specific performance problems in art, but in philosophy of art, so it is called art philosophy. The basic problem of aesthetic is the essence of
24、beauty, aesthetic consciousness.2.1.1 The Beginning of Translation AestheticsAesthetics is an old subject because it is to explore the problems contained in the aesthetic consciousness of history as long as human. In the pre Qin of China, many thinkers had clearly put forward the aesthetics characte
25、ristic, includes Confucius, Mencius, Xunzi, had deeply discussed it ever. The aesthetic problems in the west, the ancient Greek thinkers such as Pythagoras, Socrates, Heraclitus, Democritus, especially Platon and Aristotle, gave some quite profound insights, these insights had been affecting even th
26、e future development of western aesthetics. Speak of its young, because it was established as an independent discipline in modern times. Kant, Hagel used the term in the aesthetics of their writings, and put it into the philosophy of aesthetics Department of German classical philosophy. Chinese mode

The Development of Translation AestheticsSpeaking of translation aesthetics, we cannot fail to mention the contribution of western countries in this field, the o

Before the Second World War, German aesthetics has been in a leading position in the world, then transferred to the United States as the center of the aestheti

In the meantime, a relatively sharp aesthetician, Thomas Munro states: in the traditional way, aesthetics is still widely regarded as a branch of philosophy of beauty”.Whether it is at home or abroad, the research about the translation aesthetics are concentrated in the field of lit
35、erature, especially poetry translation aesthetics. Moreover, the author believes that the system of sense, whether it is literal or free,they are the embodiment of art or art and art regeneration. Marx once said, the progress of the society, is the crystallization of the human pursuit of beauty! and

The translation itself is concerned, its social significance and aesthetic value.2.1.4 The Maturity of Translation AestheticsAfter the reform and opening up, the communicatio

In absorbing and drawing lessons from the western aesthetic translation theory at the same time, China scholars did not forget to construct the theoretical framework of translation aesthetics. In early 1980s, Zhu

In 1993 years, Fu Zhongxuan published a book on practical translation aesthetics, is the first monograph of translation aesthetics, discussed about aesthetic object, translation aesthetic subject, aesthetic activity, aesthetic standards an
