1、Unit 9 May I help you?(第四课时教学设计)一、教材分析.教学内容本课时系教材英语1(基础模块 高教版)第九单元的第四课时,包括unit task, Self-check和Fun Time三局部,具体内容为:单元任务,单元回顾自查和一篇轻松课外阅 读。1 .教学重点、难点教学重点制作海报,描述理想社IX。教学难点介绍社区中的各项服务。二、教学目标.知识目标掌握并运用服务场所,服务人员及相关的词汇、句型.能力目标学生能流利使用服务场所,服务人员及相关的词汇、句型,并通过小组合作的方式制作 海报,用所学语言描述小区提供的各项服务。1 .情感目标学生能通过小组活动增强合作意识,通
2、过思考理想中小区所需要的服务,培养学生的服 务意识。三、教学步骤Step One Lead-in1. Make a comment on the students homework. Read some good dialogues made by the students.(设计意图:作业点评是学生最喜欢的环节之一,值得教师长期坚持。)Review the vocabularies and sentences about services.(设计意图:复习单元重点,为下面的海报制作环节打基础。)Step Two Unit Task1. The teacher makes a question
3、naire:Which community do you live?Is it convenient to live there?What services can you get in your community?What services do you wish you could get in your community?(设计意图:通过问卷调查,让学生观察并审视自己和同学们所住社区以及社区所提供的服 务,使学生重视自己的生活环境,并且了解到社区服务的重要性,为下一步运用语言作背 景知识的铺垫。)The teacher demonstrates a model community i
4、n their city with PPT and asks the students to compare it with their own.(设计意图:通过视频展示本市优秀示范小区,进一步为下面活动做准备。)The students are divided into groups of four and list the necessary services they expect. E. g. banks and clinics.(设计意图:复习所学服务场所的词汇。)The groups discuss the details of each service. E. g. the nu
5、mbers, kinds, size, operating hours, service fee and service quality of the restaurants.(设计意图:小组讨论每项服务的具体细节及相关信息,如餐饮服务场所的数量,各类,规 模,营业时间,收费标准及服务质量等。)The groups assign specific task to each member and make a poster with pictures, words and other materials.(设计意图:小组内局部工,拟绘图片,归纳讨论细节信息,形成文字信息,共同合作制作 海报。)T
