Play the video to listen to “If youre happy and you know it,clap your hands.” have the class sing with the tape while doing actions.二.Presentation. 1.Review:elephant、giraffe、monkey、mouse、pana
3、da with pictures in the screen.Then use “Look at ”to describe the animals by using“big,fat,funny” 2.Teach:big、small、long、short、 3.Learn to say:It has . Eg:It has big ears. It has a long tail.Practise it in pairs.三.PraticeGet the students to say:Look, I have an elephant.It has a long nose and two big
4、 ears.It has two small eyes and a short tail.Guess some puzzles about animals.Sum-up. Reflection:利用学生喜欢的图片、视频引起学生对所学知识的注意力是英语课堂上常用的教学方式。本节课在设计教学环节时,我尽量采用各种方式激发学生的学习兴趣,并且及时给予表扬,使不同层次的学生都有相应的提高或收获。当然在课堂活动中也不乏出现一些不足,如个别孩子练习对话时不用心,在以后的教学中努力使每个孩子都能集中精神投入到学习中来。
