1、1/5 地球和地球仪(第一课时)教案设计朱佩霞教案思路新课程改革的特点之一是培养学生以自主学习、合作交流、共同探究为基础的“探究式”学习方式,改变过去的死记硬背、机械接受的学习方式。因此,本节课程设计特别注意学生主动参与、积极思考,抓住学生对地球和地球仪的好奇心理,让其在自觉的“动手”和“动口”过程中掌握知识要点,在“发现”中获得地理兴趣从而不断地主动学习。教案目标1使学生了解地球的形状及大小;认识地球仪。2通过学生了解人类探索地球形状的艰难历程,培养学生的科学思维能力及培养勇于探索、深入钻研的精神,形成正确的辩证唯物主义世界观。教案重点、难点重点:地球的形状认识及用数据表示地球的大小。教案准
2、备教案辅助材料:地球仪、有关课程课件(自制)等教案辅助媒体:投影仪、幻灯机、计算机教案过程设计创设情境,引入新课教师讲述:同学们,我们生活在地球上,很多同学曾经或现在都会提到这些问题:地球是什么样的?地球有多大?人们怎么认识这个地球的?这节课我们一起去探讨这些问题,共同去探索地球。板书:第一节地球和地球仪教师提问:同学们,你们知道地球是什么形状的吗?学生回答:圆形、椭圆形教师补充说明:我们大家都知道地球是一个球体,怎么知道的呢?我们居住在地球上,无法看到地球的整体面貌,在古代,人们对地球的形状和大小是一个难解之谜。2/5 一、认识地球的形状和大小学生活动:将学生分为四大组,每一组分别规定不同的
3、时期(由远古到现代),结合课本,先讨论两分钟,然后各组派12 名代表说出那一时期人们对地球形状的认识。教师活动:分好四个组,将课本上四幅图用多媒体或挂图按照顺序展示出来,学生讨论完后,请各组代表上台边指示图片边讲述。图 1:“天圆如张盖,地方如棋局”图 2:“天如斗笠,地如覆盘”图 3:麦哲伦环球航行路线图图 4:地球卫星照片学生分小组讨论并派代表回答。第一组讲述:天圆如张盖,地方如棋局。教师补充小结并引导:在古代,人们认为整个大地是平的,天空就像倒扣在大地上的一口巨大的锅,你同意这种说法吗?为什么?(学生回答)教师总结:同学们都非常聪明,不像古代人一样完全凭借直观的认识世界简单地认识天空是圆

12、四组的代表上来为我们讲述。第四组同学代表回答教师讲述:现在我们进入了太空可以在空中看到完整的地球并为地球拍了照片,确证地球是个球体。教师提问:刚才,我们四个组的同学把我们人类认识地球探索地球的过程给演示了一遍,从“天圆地方”到“天如斗笠,地如覆盘”,再从麦哲伦环球航行到地球卫星照片,人们对地球形状的认识经历了由简单认识到猜想到实践,由错误的现象到真理的漫长岁月,并付出了巨大的代价。从人类探索地球形状的过程中,同学们都有哪些感想?我们从中悟出了怎样的道理?(学生回答)教师总结:我们要学习先辈,对待任何事物要科学,要坚持严谨、认真的态度和为探索真理勇于奉献、不怕牺牲的精神。我们还要细心观察、勤于思
13、考、善于总结、勇于实践,这样才能发现真理,取得成功。教师承转:我们认识了地球是球型的,那么她是不是真的是一个标准的球体呢?(可加入学生讨论)我们现在不仅认识了地球的形状,而且精确地测量出了地球的大小。一般来说,人们往往用表面积、周长、半径等数据来说明球体的大小。大家看到课本第3 页图 12,说明地球究竟有多大?教师可用多媒体展示有关地球大小数据的图或挂图,然后让学生回答。(学生回答)教师讲述:精确的测量表明:从地心到北极的半径为6357 千M,赤道半径为 6378 千 M。因此,准确地说,地球应该是两极稍扁,赤道稍鼓的球体。当然,这些差别同巨大的地球来比,还是微不足道的。例如:赤道半径只比北极
