13、ns.The section number is composed ofthe number of the chapter to which the section belongs,followed by a sequential numberfor each section.1.2Calibrating Nozzle ChangerNozzle Changer CoplanarityDefinition:Nozzle Changer Coplanarity is the uniformity in heightbetween all of the nozzle changer jaws.Re
14、quired Tools:1(0.01 mm)Dial IndicatorRequired Jigs:NoneProcedure:Note:Holder#1 is always used for zero reference.1.Attach the dial indicator shaft arm to the X1 or X2 head depending onthe nozzle changer unit to be checked.2.Advance the changer that has been replaced and align a dial gauge onthe bott
15、om edge of the clamper jaw.Zero the indicator.3.Jog the head to the inside of the machine until the indicator is on thedesired nozzle and measure and record the amount of deflection.4.Align the head to changer number 1.Measure the deflection andcompare it with what was recorded in Step 3.5.The total
16、 amount of deflection should not exceed“0.5 mm”across eachholder,with holder 1 as the zero reference.6.If the value exceeds the tolerance,it is most likely due to the followingreasons:a.Loss of bearingsb.Nozzle changer obstruction/seatingc.Nozzle changer unit leveld.Bent LM railChapter 11.2 Calibrat
