2、日对于每个人来说都十分重要,过生日不仅是一种个人行为,也反映出一定的文化特点。本模块选择 “生日”作为话题,一方面是因为这是一个中学生感兴趣的话题,另一方面是希望培养学生乐于交友、乐于参加集体活动的良好情感态度,同时帮助他们了解不同国家的生日文化。本单元话题是邀请朋友参加自己的生日聚会,教学重点是表达邀请。教师应创设语境,让学生练习如何正确地发出邀请。本单元的内容涉及中国孩子和外国孩子如何过生日,教师可以结合“Around the world”让学生了解外国的生日文化,比较中西方生日文化的不同,并借此培养和提高学生的跨文化意识 。学情分析学生在小学已经学习过赠送礼物的相关句型,对自提建议词汇及
3、句型的把握有一定的基础,这样就较好地展开本单元的学习,学生掌握起来相对容易,但是学生对国外礼物赠送习俗不熟悉,借助视频或图片让学生拓展视野,增进了解。学优生能根据自己英语学习中的困难,自觉有效利用生活中的英语资源。学困生能够通过引导和建议,树立积极克服英语困难的意识。教学目标通过本课时教学,学生能够:1. 在语境中理解并认读give a card, have a party, make a special cake, buy a present, eat noodles, sing Happy Birthday等词汇;2.借助表格,运用频度副词always usually often neve
