1、Module 4 Unit 3 ReadingNot just watching a film铜陵县一中 杜艳教学目标:教学目标:1.知识目标:(1)重点单词和词组:virtual;presentation;passive;headset;a sense of;put forward;with the aid of;give out;deserve to do;Compared with;(2)了解 RealCine 这个新科技产品的工作原理和功能,以及它的优越之处。2.能力目标:了解书写商务演讲的结构和目的,学会阅读并写新科技产品的商务演讲文章。3.情感目标:认识该新科技产品,并从思想上对其
2、予以认可,推广运用。知道社会需要进步,科技就要不断的发展,号召同学们努力学习,未来发明新科技,为社会做贡献。教学重难点:教学重难点:(1)重点1.了解新科技产品的工作原理和功能2.帮助学生学习商务演讲的结构和目标(2)难点如何帮助学生学习较难的科技方面的文章教学方法和手段教学方法和手段多媒体辅助教学,采用交际教学法,任务教学法和情境教学法等教学方法教学步骤:教学步骤:Step 1 lead-in1.Share a 3D video with the Ss in two ways:(1)Just watch and hear it without any aids;(2)Watch the vi
3、deo with a pair of special 3D glasses.And then ask them to express their different feelings and draw aconclusion that 3D film is more exciting than 2D film.2.Introduce the meanings of 2D and 3D films to the students and tellthem there is a product that can show a more exciting kind of films-4D.设计意图:

9、ls in a secure environment thatotherwise would be quite dangerous.It could be used in class as well.RealCine provides fantastic technology for urban planning.设计意图:设计以上三个环节的学习都是为了呼应学习策略的学习目标,一篇好的商务演讲要包括 1.与其他产品不同的优点;2.有说服力的事实论据。这样设计改变了传统的先学阅读策略再在文中做相应学习的思路,这是根据县一中大多数的学生英语基础较差的学情和文章的难度做出的相应调整。这样学习方法,降
10、低了学习难度,把该文章作为范文先学习,后学阅读此类文章的阅读策略,体现了学习该文章不是目的,学习阅读该类文章的策略才是根本的原则,方便了学生以后阅读这一特殊文体商务演讲。Step 3 SummaryAccording to your understanding of this text,try to complete the title.e.g.Not just watching a film,but also being a good treatment for peoplewho have social problems.Not just watching a film,but also

12、华提供了话题的导入。Step 5 DiscussionQ:(1)Different people hold different opinions towards RealCine.Are youfor or against the technology?(2)If you were the mayor of our city,what would you do to develop ourhometown with VR the extraordinary technology?设计意图:决策者对于新科技的认可与否,是写该文章的目的。创设情境,让学生扮演决策者展开讨论,能够最终实现对于该产品从
13、文字认识到思想认可。知道社会需要进步,科技就要不断的发展。号召同学们从现在起好好学习,争取未来发明新科技,为社会做贡献,实现情感的升华。Step6 Homework1.Write a report about what the RealCine can do in other ways which arenot mentioned in the text.2.Find out one other new technology and write a business representationfor it。设计意图:1.对文章的巩固学习;2.把学到的阅读商务演讲的策略运用实践,学着写一篇商务演讲。
