1、I used to be afraid of the dark. 课型:词汇教学 Learning goal : (1)To understand: chew gum insect (2)use :used to death in the endAbility goal : (1)正确使用 used to 结构描述人物的外貌、性格和爱好。 (2)根据听力练习在听前对听力材料内容的预测能力。(设计意图:这样的分类对于初中学生的作用很明显,因为可以大大减轻词形记忆的负担,而且明确提升词汇运用的能力。)二、教学重难点 教学重点: 教学重点: 使用 used to 结构谈论自己及他人在外貌、性格和爱好
2、方面的变化。 教学难点: used to 结构在陈述句及一般疑问句中的正确使用。 Teaching steps: Step1. Have the students find the words they can read out or they have learnt before.(like: go to sleep in the end give up on make a decision )Then the students read them loudiy several times. (设计意图:因为每单元单词量很大,提前让学生找出已会认读的单词,剩下需要掌握的就不太多了,这样可以降
3、低学生学习单词的畏惧心理。)(温故而知新)Step2. Getting more practice about the new words pronunciations. When students get the meaning of the words, lead them to read the new words in different ways: boys, girls, together or one by one. Ask them to check each others pronunciations in pairs. Show the pictures above and
