Sometimes, the Dragon
3、 Boat Festival comes in this month too. This month is in summer. Which month is it?Ss: Its June.T: Whose birthday is in June?S1: My birthday is in June.2. 利用图片和日历,导入句型和序数词 教师利用多媒体呈现若干与生日相关的物品和活动图片以及一张日历,和学生进行问答活动,引出本单元的话题。如:T: Whats this?Ss: Its a birthday cake.T: Right. Look at this picture. What a

5、What about you?S2: (手指三月的其中一个日期)T: Its on the th of March.Step 2: Presentation & Practice1. 复习基数词,引入序数词教师将学生分成三组,要求他们在黑板上分别写出1-10、11-20和21-30三组数字的基数词。教师也可以要求学生按照自己的学号,在黑板上写出相应的基数词。 然后,教师要求学生写出序数词1-3,并就教室等学校设施所在的楼层和学生进 行问答活动,复习序数词的用法。如:T: Wheres the computer room/canteen/library/music room?Ss: Its on

8、课文内容教师出示课文图片,让学生观察图片并说一说Su Hai和Mike是怎样过生日的,有什么相同和不同之处。7. 听录音,理解课文大意教师播放课文录音,要求学生理解大意并完成学生用书第80页的Look and write或者回答下列问题: When is Su Hai and Su Yangs birthday? What do they usually do on their birthday? What do they rat on their birthday? Who is Kitty? When is Mikes birthday? What does Mike always do

10、教师在小组活动之后,可以将所有小组的统计数字汇总,形成全班的生日日历。二、教学活动1. 小组活动教师安排学生五至六人一组,就生日进行问答活动。小组内要安排一人为组长并在表格中记录信息。2. 数据汇总小组问答活动后,教师要求各组组长汇报调查结果,并将数据填入表格中,然后汇总成全班范围内的数据,形成班级生日日历。教师可以要求学生将名字写在每月的空格内。3. 制作生日卡片教师安排学生完成学生用书第86页Checkout time中的Make and say,为当月过生日的学生制作生日贺卡,并祝他们生日快乐。教师可以安排学生两人一组完成此任务。Step 3: Consolidation1. 小组活动,
11、复述课文教师安排学生四人一组,以接龙的方式分别描述Su Hai, Su Yang和Mike是如何过生日的。小组活动后,教师可要求若干学生独自完成复述课文的任务。教师也可以安排学生完成学生用书第80页的Think and say,达到同样的操练和强化效果。如:S: Su Hai and Su Yangs birthday is on the eleventh of May. They usually have a big dinner with their parents and grandparents. They eat some noodles. They play with Kitty

They have a lot of fun.2. 中西方生日文化对比教师在新授活动4(头脑风暴)的基础上,要求学生讨论中西方生日文化的异同,然后选择相应的生日活动填入表格中。最后,教师要提醒学生注意:当前的中国生日文化已经吸纳了很多西方元素,中西方生日文化
