I ll be ready to begin this lesson from five parts. My understanding of the teaching material, teaching aims and demands, teaching methods

2、, teaching procedure, and Blackboard design. First, let me talk about the teaching material. Part1 the analysis of the teaching materialSection 1 status and function It is a reading passage. As we know ,the teaching material is just a carrier to obtain knowledge.Through this passage ,ss are required

3、 to learn aboutat the same time, they are asked to master the vocabulary related to the topic.students four basic skills will also be improved.in addition, it will be helpful to raise their awareness of. Section 2 teaching aims First Knowledge aims: Are to deduce their function and use from its cont

4、ext second Ability aim: To skim over a passage quickly and find the main ideas, Third Emotional aim: Stimulate /stir/arouse ss passion/ardour of exploring nature and experiencing the power of the nature,sense of fighting against sanderstorms and protecting the environment. now,let s turn to Setion t

5、hree :key points and difficult points 1 key points:the function and use of the new words and phrases, and the content of the text 2 difficult points:some long and dfficult sentences. How to achieve the aims better ,how to stress the key points and break through the difficult points?Let s come to par

7、he teacher and the ss,and develop ss communicative competence. I will offer ss different tasks based on the text to help improve their abilities. 2. teaching aids to make my class lively and brief , convey more information in limited time, I will use : the multi-media ,the computer ,the teaching mat

8、erial and the blackboard. Part 3 the analysis of the ss and the methods of study as senior students, they are sensitive and dignified and experiencing a critial pariod of forming correct view of life and world. They intend to think independently. As for the learning methods ,they are poor in coopera

9、tion and communication. Some ss are not active in the class. So I ll create a friendly andrelaxed atmosphere and make ss the masters of my class.In a word, ss will learn to be a successful reader,to think deeper and form positive attitude to the daily life.Ok ,now let s come to the 4th partteaching

10、procedures. I ll divide the lesson into 9 steps. Step1. greetings It helps students to change their attention into the new class. Step2.lead in Present the teaching goals : on the screen. students will have a clear idea of what they will learn in the class. Introduce the topic-and ask students to sp

11、eak out any words that come to their mind. It will invoke ss old knowledge and get preparation to the new text. Step3.pre-reading present some difficult words on the screen,and give some simple explanation. at last,finishing the blanks using the new words. This section will smooth away the main obst

12、acles while comprehend the passage. Step4. while-reading It is composed of two sections. 1. fast reading read the text quickly and find out the topic sentences. 13、迎下载skimming. 2. intensive reading read the text carefully and answer the following question While reading, the ss are given the tips:to look through the title,to read the first para and grasp the main idea, to look through the first or last sentence of other paras,to read the last para I will also g

14、ive some explanation for some long and difficult sentences and finish exercises in activity2,3 and 4 3. give explanation to some long and difficult sentences,and pharases. Step 5 post reading I prepare a short passage with some key words taken out. Ask the ss to fill in the blanks. Doing this can co

15、nsolidate what they learn today. Step7.probe and cooperative study There is a forum, talking about .you can use what we learned to air your ideas. This new task arouses students good ownership and strong sense of responsibility. in this section, I combine moral education and the learning together.th

16、ey will feel knowledge is very useful and volunteer to seek more resources related to the topic. Step8. homework After some volunteers giving their opinions, I will summarize what we learned today and leave the homework-get preparation for the next week topic.the homework is an extension of the prev

17、ious lesson. Part 5 blackboard design A good blackboard design can make ss get key information in limited time. I will make a design like this: The title of the passage is on the top of the blackboard. Divide the bb into three parts, the left is for the key words and phrases, the middle is for the t

18、ext s structure,while the right is for the topics Part 6 teaching evaluation While teaching , I will walk around the classroom and keep an eye on each student and praise their excellent performance. Self-examination will help me to improve the teaching quality and the relationship between the teacher and students.
