It is a modern event that was first introduced in the Modern Olympic Games of 1896 in Athens. The distance of the modern marathon was standardized as 42.195 km.

But after he finished 150km journey with 35 hours, the people there said that they have to sent the army 10 days later. HistoryThe Greek people decid
4、ed to fight with their back to the river. In the end ,the Greek people defeated the Persia army and gained the victory. The messenger ran to the central square of Greek City, with the good news. He shouted to the Greek people at a high voice, “We win! Lets have a celebration! ” Then he fell down on
