1、 My view on the cultures between Chinese and American When it comes to the culture, in my opinion, it is hard to define since its a large and inclusive concept. Every country has its own unique culture. We cant say the culture of which country is superior to others. Culture is a total accumulation o

The culture is rich and complex in each country and it can represent its own country to a certain degree. As for the nati

Then we should learn about the similarities and differences in different cultures if we want to get along well with people from different count

The culture is complex that including knowledge, belief, art, law, education, family and so on. We hold these truths to be self-evid

We can know about American values that they emphasize equality of opportunit

As Chinese, we were inculcated that self-sacrifice puts the benefit of the group above that of the individual by our teachers. In other words, collectivis

The Confucian Doctrine of the Mean urges that individuals should avoid competition to seek for harmony. We have to a

Some concepts are positive while some passive concepts are included, such as conservatism, face-saving.From my perspectives, I think our country develo

It is an important part in everyones life, while the family life both in America and China has changed a

As time goes on, new family patterns begin to emerge, including DINK, the single-parent family, the same-sex-parent family. I think the reasons can be owing t

While in China, most parents begin to arrange everything for their children before the kids were born hoping that

Most parents have little control over or even no interfere in their childrens marriages. The value of marriages is largely determined by how happy the husband and

However, you cant image that in this country which stresses the freedom of marriage, according to the 2010 census in American, about 50% of all American marriages end in divorce. Some critics claim that government should take great attention to the high and increasing rate

The position in the family is unequal in tradition. The wife in the family played a role as servant to the husband. As

People used to look down on females, for they were considered useless and could not continue the family name. Nowadays females position has improved a lot, women expect to work and earn mon

I would rather cry in the BMW than laugh on the bicycle said by some young girls. Of course, not all girls have the s

In all, American teachers lay stress on develop childrens interests in study. In china, nine-year compulsory education is known to everyone,

Whats more, many Chinese children have to entry for all kinds of contest by the pressure from their parents while American children have a happy childhood. In the present study I know something about the culture between American and China. Both cultures

Furthermore, this course convinces me that the important job is not only to understand foreign culture but also understand our own. Before this course, I found I have less knowledge about Chinese, especially religion, education and values. I hold the view that the course is a good chance for us students to learn more about our native culture besides American culture.
