Our boys and girls are exposed to English for the first time, so it is very important

3、to develop their keen interest in English. 一、说教材(Contents) Good morning, everyone! Today Im going to talk about Unit 10 What does that sign mean? Part A and Part B. Part A is a dialogue, Part B are some signs in our dairy life. This lesson is closely connected with our life , we should not only make

4、 sure the Ss can express the English meanings of different signs, but also teach them how to behave themselves and to be polite person. 二、说教学目标( Teaching aims) 教学目标 :根据小学英语新课标的要求和本课特点,结合本班学生的年龄特征、兴趣等具体情况,本着以学生发展为核心的理念,确定重点,培养学生的英语思维能力、表达能力,提高生活素养的整合研究的教学目标。 1、知识目标 ( Aims on the knowledge) 通过学习课文,在语言

5、环境中掌握 a sign, No mobile phone, a cinema 、No talking、No fishing、Guests do not go in, No picking of flowers, No spitting and so on. 通过学习课文,理解并掌握What does that sign mean? It meansThat sign means句子的用法。 2、能力目标( Aims on the abilities) 通过学习课文帮助学生了解日常生活中一些标志图的含义; 通过对句型的运用,培养学生的语言实践能力。 3、情感目标(Aims on the emo

6、tion) 让学生在看图片时猜想图片含义,通过围绕课文展开的活动来提高学生素养,使德育、智育在教学中得以和谐发展,提高人文素养。 4、教学重点(Key-points of this lesson) the meanings of the signs 5、教学难点( Difficult points) Learn these sentences: What does that sign mean? It means/That sign means 三、说教学方法(Teaching methods) The taskbased method(任务教学法),communicated method(交

7、际法),group cooperation method (团体合作法)games and competition method(游戏竞赛法)and encouragement method(激励法)。 四、说教学工具(Teaching tools) Some pictures ,cards and computer 五、说教学步骤及设计意图(Teaching procedures and purposes of my designing) Step l Sing an English song and greet to each other. At the beginning of the

8、class, we should greet to each other, so we will sing the English song “Hello!” with the computer. This song can not only help us to greet to each other, but also can arouse the Ss interest and make them active in this lesson. Step2 Presentation 1、Ill show some signs in screen and ask them“what are

9、these,do you know?” Maybe they know, but they cant answer in English,so Ill help the Ss to answer “This is a sign.” and Ill write the word “sign” on the Bb, then ask the Ss to read after me “sign”. After that Ill ask the Ss “what does that sign mean?” Maybe the Ss dont know the Chinese meaning, so I

10、ll tell them and help them to answer in English. Because these drills are very important and difficult for the Ss, Ill ask the Ss to read after me and practice the drills with the signs in Part B. Such as: No parking, No fishing, No talking , No spitting and so on. Maybe it is difficult for the Ss t

11、o learn so many English meanings of the signs .Ill tell them some ways to remember them. 2、After so long hard work , Id like to relax the Ss and to practice the language points , Ill ask the Ss to play some games .At first, Ill divide them into two groups, then have a competition, Ill give the winne

12、r a red flag .Game 1 Magic eyes ,Game 2 Ask and answer ,Game 3 Ill ask the Ss come to the front of the class and give them some pictures and cards and ask them to find friends as quickly as possible. At last well see which group has more flags. Step 3 listen, read and say. 1、Ill show a picture of a

13、cinema on the screen ,and ask the Ss to think about what signs they can see in a cinema and how to say the meanings of the signs. 2、Ask the Ss to listen to the tape ,try to get the information, then read after the tape and practice in groups ,and to see which group is the best. Step 4 Change class t

14、o life, learn by themselves. Is this the end of the class? I dont think so. If there is an end ,I think it should be in the life .So I extend this class, encourage Ss to find the signs in our diary life, and try to express them in English. If they cant, they can search in the internet .This is their

15、 homework . At last, Ill sum up: This lesson ,we can not only get the Ss to learn the Language Points, but also can help the Ss to behave themselves and to be a polite person .we can see many signs in our dairy life, and they tell us what we can do and what we cant do. If everybody can obey the rules in our society , our life will become better and better. Thats all .Thank you for you attention. -
