1、独家文档请勿盗版感谢支持Unit 9 Chinese knot is used to express good wishes (第一课时 教学设计)一、单元内容分析 本单元的话题是介绍某物品。教学重点是应用介绍物品常见的词汇和句型。具体为:能够听懂谈论某物品特点的对话;正确及熟练运用英语谈论某物品的特点功能;能读懂关于介绍某物品特色的文章;简单描绘相关的物品;同时了解一些相关的传统文化和科技知识。本单元的语法点为一般现在时的被动语态。本单元将会学习以前学生从未接触过的被动语态,同时又会学习一些具有时代感的词汇,因此具有十分重要的地位。教师应通过合理的设计,循序渐进地融入新内容,有效的完成词汇听
2、、说、读、写四个任务。在谈论相关产品及阅读相关文章的过程中,拓宽学生的视野,感受传统文化与科技的魅力。本单元设计成四个课时:第一课时 Lead in + Listening and speaking第二课时 Reading and writing第三课时 Grammar focus (Passive Voice of the simple present tense)第四课时 Vocabulary practice + Supplementary reading二、分课时教学设计第一课时 Lead in + Listening and Speaking一、教材分析1教学内容本课时系教材英语基础
3、教程(2)第九单元的第一课时,包括Lead-in & Listening and speaking两部分,具体内容为:课文中出现物品的词汇,听懂并能谈论和回答有关这些物品的对话。2教学重点、难点教学重点描绘剪纸、中国结等物品的词汇和句型;听懂和谈论介绍相关物品的词汇和句型;听懂和谈论有关物品介绍的简单对话。教学难点在模拟或真实语境中谈论相关物品。二、教学目标1. 知识目标 掌握介绍物品相关的词汇,如: paper cut, smart phone, Chinese knot, silk, tea pot, smart watch, express good wishes, serve tea,
4、 decorate windows, show peoples heart rate, communicate with others, from start to finish, according to, how about掌握介绍物品所使用的句型,如:-What color is it?- What is it made of?- What does it mean?- It is used to - It is used for - Its called It is 2. 能力目标学生能听懂关于介绍物品的对话;学生能应用基本句型进行相关物品的简单介绍;(3)对介绍物品的基本词汇和句型达
5、到听、说应用的程度。3. 情感目标(1)在介绍物品特点和功能中,培养学生的沟通能力;(2)增强学生对传统文化的热爱和科技创新意义的理解。三、教学步骤Step One Lead-in 1. Play a guessing game. Show students the six pictures one by one. Then ask some students to describe these pictures and other students try to guess what they are .(设计意图:让学生先用自己的语言对活动中的物品进行描述,其余学生则根据描述进行猜测,可以
6、很好的激发学生对所学内容的兴趣,激活相关短语)2. Look and check: Ask the students to open the book and compare their descriptions with these in activity 1.Then finish activity 1.Words to be taught: express good wishes, serve tea, decorate windows, show peoples heart rate, communicate with others.(设计意图:通过与课文对图片描述的对比,让学生找出自
7、己描述方面的优点与不足,并进行总结归纳,有利于进一步加深对课文重点短语的理解。)Step Two Listening and speaking 1. Activity 2. Listen and circle. Students listen to the tape and circle the thing speakers are talking about. (设计意图: 听第一遍录音,了解谈论主题和识别关键词。)2. Activity 3. Listen and choose. listen to the tape again, and then choose the correct a
8、nswer in activity 3. (设计意图: 听第二遍录音,识别关键信息。)3. Activity 4. Listen and fill. Ask the students to listen to the tape and fill in the blanks (设计意图: 听第三遍录音,填写细节关键信息。)4. Activity 5: Listen and answer Students listen to the dialogue and then answer the following questions as quickly as possible. 1) What wi
9、ll Jack buy for his mother on Christmas? 2) What does a Chinese Knot mean? 3) What color is the most popular? (设计意图:通过让学生回答一些基本信息的问题,了解学生理解对话情况,为后面学习做好铺垫)5. Read and learn. Ask two students to read aloud the dialogue and the teacher guide the students to learn the dialogue by explaining some key wor
10、d and sentences. Its called- What is it made of? What does it mean? according to It is welcomed by people worldwide(设计意图: 让学生完全地理解课文意思,并能正确使用相关短语。注意短语中一般现在时被动语态的出现,应首次提出,但这里只要求学生理解意思,不作详细讲解。)6. Role-play the dialogue (设计意图:训练学生朗读能力,培养语感。)Step Three Practice Activity 6: Practice and talk. Divide the
11、students into 8 groups, and give them a few minutes to discuss activity 6, then ask one student from each group to introduce the Chinese tea orally. The teacher gives proper comments on the students performance. At last, choose the best one as the model.(设计意图:通过这个活动让学生充分运用本节课所学单词和句型,训练学生的口语和听力以及语言组织
