The students take the tasks into the lesson . They will know what they n

6、eed to learn and it will make the studying better. Pairwork and groupwork can help the students learn how to get on well with others. They will feel happy when they are successful. When they feel to be needed, they will be more confident. It is good for their future studies.2. Teaching Aids: A tape

7、recorder, A computerand some cards.A computer can carry lots of information and it can show many interesting pictures to the students. It can make the students more interested in learning English and get better results. Using cards is also a good way to lean English because students can learn Englis

8、h with their eyes ,ears and mouths.III Learning methods:In this lesson , I use watching ,learning by doing , practicing and summarizing methods. In the warming-up step , I do some activities and ask them to watch me to lead in the new language. Next I show them lots of pictures to practice the Prese

9、nt Progressive Tense. At last I ask them to sum up the forms of the Present Progressive Tense.I / 6IV Teaching procedureStep 1 Warming upTask 1. Divide the whole class into two groups :bus group, bike group and tell them we will play a competition among them: whichever group gets more marks will be

10、the better group.And we will learn about transportation.The students are glad to take part in matches so they will be happy and active in class. Task 2 Lead in the new lesson by asking Do you like playing games. Wlel play a guessing game.Step 2 Pre-taskTask .2 Revise bike,busand taxi by guessing thr

11、ee kinds of transportations: play the sound of a bike ring, covered picturesAt the same time the teacher writes the words on the Bb and record the results.Task 3 Show the students the main tasks of this unit and write the topic on the blackboard.I think interest is the best teacher .This will help s
