1、六年级上29课教学设计 教学目标:1. 语言知识目标:(1)继续学习月份和节日: November 和December 以及感恩节、圣诞 节的相关文化和习俗。 (2)掌握目标语言:November is the eleventh month of the year. Thanksgiving Day is on the 4th Thursday of November. December is the twelfth and last month of the year. Christmas is on December 25th.2. 语言技能目标:(1)培养学生用简单的英语介绍节日,初步了
2、解不同节日的文化习俗。 (2)在真实的情景中培养学生的观察力和想象力,激发学生的思维,学生运用语言的能力。3. 情感态度目标:培养学生良好的学习习惯,让孩子善于开口,乐于交际,愿意合作。同时通过了解中西方文化的差异,开拓学生视野,了解不同节日的文化习俗,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,增强跨文化意识。4. 学习策略目标:积极参与探究学习和小组合作学习。5. 文化意识目标:帮助学生了解中西方文化节日和习俗,开阔视野,陶冶情操。学情分析:六年级学生已有初步的听、说、读、写能力和形象思维能力。他们活泼,好表现。我抓住学生的这一特点,创设真实的情境,在激发学生学习兴趣的同时,为学生提供更多的语用空间,让学生在
3、感知、模仿中自主学习。教学重点:学习感恩节和圣诞节的表达方法并初步了解节日所在的时间以及不同节日的文化习俗。教学难点:描述节日文化,让学生在感知、模仿、学习、体验的基础上逐步达到真实运用语言进行交流的目的。教学过程:Teaching procedures:Step1. Warming-up1. Listen to an English song. And then answer the question “How many month names have we learnt?”2. Ask the students “Which month do you like?”(设计意图:英语歌曲的播
4、放,不仅能吸引学生的课堂注意力,还让学生复习了月份的名称。第二个问题的提出给学生无限的的空间去表达自己喜欢的月份和月份中伴有的节日和活动,复习环节深度层层递进。) Step2.Presentation1. Ask the students “Which month do I like?”Tell them I like the eleventh month of the year. Its November. 2. Teach the sentence :November is the eleventh month of the year. Read it together.(设计意图:针对教
5、师提出的问题,“我喜欢哪个月份?”顺势给出“我喜欢十一月份”,本课的新授知识导入自然。)3. Ask the students “What festival is in November?” Watch the video and then answer the questions: ( 1 ) What festival is in November in America? ( 2 ) When is Thanksgiving Day? ( 3 ) What is the family doing?4. Talk about the right answers with the studen
6、ts.(设计意图:事先给出问题,再让学生们观看视频,这样他们心中就有了明确的任务,学习和探索知识的目的性就更加强烈了。)5. Show some pictures about Thanksgiving Day to the students.(设计意图:感恩节相关图片的展示和讲解,让学生们开拓了视野,了解到了更多的西方文化,增长了知识,陶冶了情操。)6. Listen to the tape and then let the students try to recite the text of November.(设计意图:教师要求学生对文本进行复述,是对孩子们提出了一个更高的要求,这样做不但
7、能帮助学生们更深入的掌握和吸收语篇的知识内容,而且同时培养了学生的实际语言运用的能力。)7. Let the students listen to the music guess what festival is it? Its Christmas . Teach the month “December”. December is the twelfth and last month of the year.(设计意图:根据学生的年龄特点,他们充满了极强的好奇心和求知欲,通过让学生听音乐来猜节日的方法,使他们的学习兴趣高涨。)8. Look at the pictures ask and an
8、swer the questions:When is Christmas? Its on December 25th.9. Introduce some information about Christmas.(设计意图:通过师生间和生生间的问答练习, 再次强化了课文中出现的知识点。Christmas is on December 25th.课外知识的讲解有利于学生更加全面的了解和感知西方的节日文化,教师对知识的讲授不仅是停留在了课本上,而且进行了深入的挖掘。)10. Try to recite the text .Step 3: Practice1. Take out the piece o
9、f paper , listen to the tape and write the right answer .2. Santa Claus comes to our classroom. He brings some presents and tasks. Let the students choose one of the tasks to prepare.3. Act it out in front of the classroom.(设计意图:通过学生自选任务话题来操练本课的语言点,对知识结构进行巩固练习,培养了学生的综合语言运用能力。)Step 4 :ExtensionShow some traditional festival pictures to the students .(设计意图:最后通过多媒体呈现几组中西方传统节日的图片,让学生感受中西方文化的差异,让学生更多地了解有关中西方的文化,同时向学生渗透热爱中国文化的情感。)Step 5:Homework1. Listen to the tape and try to recite the text.2. Talk about the festival with your friends or parents.
