1、Unit 6 Do you like bananas?The First Period (Section A, la-2c)Designing intention and purpose:The lesson is student-oriented, and designed on the theoretical basis of the new English curriculum standard.The whole lesson is full of the efficient combination of input and output. The main topic of this
2、 audio-oral lesson is food which is close to students9 daily lives. The important language points in this lesson include some words about food and some basic sentence structures of simple present tense. The aim of this lesson is to make students grasp the new words and structures, then improve their
3、 listening and speaking ability, then cultivate their language application consciousness.Teaching objectives:1 . Language points objectives:(1) Learn these words and be able to say, read and write them:orange(s), banana(s), strawberry, strawberries, pear(s), apple(s), tomato(es), carrot(s), vegetabl
4、e(s), hamburger(s), egg(s), ice-cream(s), salad(s), bread, chicken(2) Some basic sentence structures of simple present tense:肯定句与否定句:sb.like/likes.sb. dont/doesnt like.一般疑问句及其回答:Do/Does sb. like .?Yes, sb. do/does.No,sb. dont/doesnt.(3) Countable nouns and uncountable nouns:Countable: eggs,hamburger
5、s,bananas,apples. Uncountable: milk, bread, rice.2 . Language application objectives:(1) Students will be able to grasp the main idea of each listening material,then catch some keys words and details to get specific information.(2) Students can use the words and sentence structures to make their own
6、 conversations and express themselves.3 .Cultural awareness objective:Students can know about some eating habits in western countries and compare the differences between China and western countries.4 .Thinking quality objective:(1) Students can think about their daily eating habits carefully;(2) Stu

8、ords about food they have learned before)Show Ss a picture of fridge which is full of all kinds of food.Then ask students to speak out the food they know in English.
