1、专题二冠词不定冠词的用法用法举例泛指人或事物的类别A plane is a machine that can fly. 飞机是一种能飞的机器。泛指某人或某物A boy is waiting for you. 一个男孩在等你。表示oneHe is an honest boy. 他是个诚实的男孩。用于习惯用语中a lot一些have a rest 休息a little 一点in a hurry 匆忙地1. a用在读音以辅音音素开头的单词前, an用在读音以元音音素开头的单词前。如: a pen; an egg。2. 即使单词拼写以辅音字母开头, 如果词的读音是元音开头, 也要用an。反之, 即使拼
2、写以元音字母开头但读音是辅音, 加不定冠词时, 要用a。如: an hour; a university。定冠词的用法用法举例特指某(些)人或某(些)事物The girl in a hat is my sister. 指谈话双方都知道的人或事物Open the door, please. 指上文已经提到的人或事物Here is a book. The book is Jims. 用于世界上独一无二的事物前The moon goes around the earth. 用在方位名词的前面The sun rises in the east. 用在乐器名称的前面He often plays the
3、violin after school. 用在普通名词构成的专有名词前the Yellow River, the Great Wall用在复数姓氏的前面表示一家人或夫妇The Greens are watching TV. 用在序数词和最高级的前面The third truck carries the fewest of all. 用在习惯用语中in the morning, at the foot of 冠词的用法歌诀特指双方熟悉, 上文已经提及。世上独一无二, 方位名词乐器。某些专有名词, 外加复数姓氏。序数词最高级, 习惯用语要特记。定冠不定冠, 意思差千万。零冠词的用法不用冠词的情况(
4、零冠词)举例名词前已经有物主代词、指示代词、不定代词或所有格修饰时This is my book. That is Jims book. 名词复数表示类别时They are workers. 在球类、学科和三餐的名词前We often play basketball or learn Chinese after breakfast. 在某些专有名词前, 如国度、人名、地名等Mr Brown is from America. 当不可数名词表示一般概念或类别时Paper is made from wood. 在星期、季节、月份等名词前Spring comes after winter. 在称呼、头
5、衔、职务前Wheres my bag, Mum? 在公共节日、假日名称前March 8th is Womens Day. 在表示交通手段的介词短语中Did you come by train or by ship? 在一些习惯用语中go to school, at night 零冠词的用法歌诀下列情况不用冠, 名词之前代词限。复数名词表泛指, 球类学科和三餐。专有名词不可数, 星期月份季节前。交通手段和节日, 习语称谓和头衔。单数名词加定冠词或不定冠词, 复数名词不加冠词, 都可以表示“一类”。如: 马是一种有用的动物。可译为: A horse is a useful animal. 或The
