1、The second period (第二课时)Part A Part A Lef s learn & Lets chant内容分析本课是PEP小学英语三年级起点第一册Unitl第二课时。本课时主要要求学 生能听、说、认读单词:China, USA, Canada, UK。并能听懂和会说“We are friends.v “We like to play.”这两个句子。在 Lets chant 中,通过练习和 运用对话部分的内容,为学生提供一个在实际生活中运用语言的机会。课时目标知识与能力1 .能够听懂、会说核心句型“We are./We like to .2 .能够在情景中运用“Hello!

2、/Hi!”与别人打招呼。也能运用句型”Pm. Fm from.”来介绍自己3 .能够听、说、认读表示国家的单词:UK, Canada, USA, China等。 过程与方法1 .通过跟唱Lefs chant的歌曲巩固本单元所学单词。2 .认识四个国家的标志性建筑以及国旗。情感态度价值观1 .通过语境真实的对话,培养学生爱国主义情感。2 .提高学生之间合作能力。教学重难点教学重点1 .能够听、说、认读本课的主要单词:“UK, Canada, USA, China”。2 .能够听、说、认、读本课时的主要句子:Hi, Tm Amy. Tm from the U.K. 教学难点1 .能够准确发音一Ca

3、nada / kaensds/2 .通过学习Lets chant的歌曲,来巩固本课单词。教学准备教学课件、歌曲音频,单词卡片等教学媒体选择多媒体,录音。教学活动1 .角色扮演2 .游戏3 .观看动画教学过程Step 1: Warm-up & Lead-in1. Greetings2. Revision & Lead-in(1) Let students practice the sentence patterns which we have learned (Part A Lets talk) and choose several groups to give a show for the c

4、lass.For example:Fm Miss Li. Fm from China. (The teacher can make a modal.)(2) Answer one by one (接力回答)SI : Im Zhang San. Tm from Wu Han. What about you?S2: Im Li Si. Tm from Beijing. What about you?S3: Im Wang Wu. Tm from Luoyang. What about you?S4: Im Zhaoqiang. Fm from Shenzhen. What about you? (

5、通过练习句型,来为本课时的新知做铺垫。)Step 2: Presentation1. Lets learn(1) Free talkDo you know these please? Now, lets look and say together.T: what are these?Ss: They are .T: They are from?(以询问的语气,希望学生们能准确补填空白。) Ss: UK, Canada, USA and China.(通过free talk,从而引出即将要讲的一些国家。)(2) Show the flag of the U.K. and introduce so

6、mething about the country.At the same time, show the picture of its landmark buildingthe Big Ben.(出示课件:展示英国的国旗及其标志性建筑物。并点拨学生,一些国家可以有缩写 形式,如U.K.但如果用缩写,需要在其前加定冠词“the”。)(3) Put another three pictures of landmark buildings in other countries on PPT and introduce them in the same way.(课件出示:三张照片。They are

7、CN Tower加拿大国家电视台, the Statue of Liberty美国纽约自由女神像and the Great Wall中国长城.)(4) Look at the pictures and answer the following questions according to them. And build a relationship between them.Look and answer:T: Please look the pictures carefully. Can you guess where are they?Ss: They are in Canada, the

8、 U.S.A, and China.(教师请学生看图片,并根据图片中的标志物说出相应的国家名称。提醒学 生注意在说U.K.和U.S.A.时,前面要加the。但如果单独呈现国名时,可以 不加the。)(5) Use the above names of countries to speak out the following sentence patterns in groups again and again.For example: UK, UK, Fm from the U.K.Canada, Canada, Tm from Canada.USA, USA, Fm from the U.S

9、.A.China, China, Im from China.(6) Work in pairsRules: one points to the flag or the landmark building, the other one needs speak out the name of the country in English at once.(7) Practice the sentence pattern Tm from.” between teacher and students. Rules: Teacher can show the picture in disorder.

10、And students should answer correctly in a form of competition. Which one can answer the most, she/he will get a reward.2. Talk and actLook at the picture in Lets chant again and ask the four children respectively to act and introduce themselv
