1、课题M2U2 It s very old.课时共一课时第一课时教学 目标1 知识目标:(1)基本会读、会写、会说词汇long、wide、 many、 river、 old、 famous(2)基本会唱歌曲 London Bridge is falling down.(3)巩固复习This is + n.及There be +n的语言结构。(4)巩固复习Is it + adj.的语言结构,并用Yes, it is.或No, it isn t.进行回答。2、能力目标:(1)能够运用This is +地名,It s + adj.的语言结构来描述自己喜欢的城市。(2)能够运用The + n. +is+
2、 adj.的语言结构来形容某种 事物。3、情感目标:(1)培养学生认真观察周围事物;了解更多 的地理知识。(2)引导学生关注我们的生活,热爱我们的生活。教学重点会读、会写、会说词汇 long、wide、many、river, old、 famou教学难点学会三个景物词组:Big BenHyde ParkTower Bridge教学准备词卡PPT教 学 流 程(一)创设情景,导入新课。(1) Greeting; T: Good morning ,boys and girls.Ss: Good morning, Ms Wang.T: How are you today?Ss: I m fine,
3、thank you. And you?T: I m fine, too.(2) Words game.(唱反调)T: Big, Ss: small. Show out the word cards. Ss read the words as fast as they can. And do the actions to each other. Eg: T: naughty, Ss: 做鬼脸并指向同位,并说句子:He s/She s naughty.(二)自主学习,合作探究。T: Good! All of you did a good job!奖励学生奥运福娃的贴画。1. Leading-in.
4、(1)老师装扮成一名导游 T: We all know that the 28th Olympic Games was held in Beijing last summer, do you know where the next Olympic Games will be held?Ss: London. T: YES! Do you want to know something about London?Ss: Yes. London is the capital of England.T: Yes. You are very clever.Now, I am a guider. I 11

Now, look! 教师播放课本上关于伦敦的几幅图片,让学生来欣赏。(三)质疑释疑,反馈展示。(1)教学新单词:long、wide、river, many,(教师用课件呈现图片:the River Thames ) 教师板书:the River Thames,教学生认读这个词组,同时告诉学生注意每个单词的首字母需要大 写。A组个别学生读。B组男、女读。C小组读。师提问:Is it long? Is it wide?学生做出相应的回答,同时教学单词wide。师出示图片There axe many boats on the river.教学生
6、认读单词many, river.学生采取个别读,分组 读的方法来读单词。师小结:This is the River Thames. It is very long. It is very wide. There are many boats on the river.学生模仿当导游, 向同学介绍the River Thames.(2)教学单词old.(课件展示图片:Big Ben)师板书这个词组,并教学生认读词组,让注意每 个单词的首字母大写。A、个别学生读。B、男、女读。C、小组读。T: It s in the centre of London. It s a big tower with
7、four clocks. 师提问: Is it new?学生回答,教师引导学生读出It s old.教学单词old. T: Is it tall? Ss: yes , it is.小结:This is Big Ben. It s very tall . It s very old.并让学生当导游,用这些句子向同学介绍。(3)教学单词 beautiful.(电脑出示图片:Hyde Park)教师板书这个词组,教学生认读,A.个别学 生读。B.男、女读。C.小组读。同时提醒学生注意单词首字母大写。师指图 片介绍;It s very beautiful. It s very famous. It s
8、 for the king to hunt.教学生认读单词beautiful.小组读,个别读结合。师小结:This isHyde Park. It s very famous. It s very beautiful. 并让学生当导游, 用这些句子向同学介绍。(4)教学单词famous.(展示图片:TowerBridge)教学生认读这个短语,A、个别学生读。B、男、 女读。C、小组读。注意单词首字母大写。It s over the River Thams, It s very famous.并让学生当导游,用这些句子向同学介绍。评选最佳小导游。(四)精讲提升,拓展延伸。1 .记忆力大比拼:出示
9、 the River TamesBig BenHyde Park, Tower Bridge 图片,让学生快 速抢答四个景点的名称。2 .我来做小导游:3 .根据课文内容完成下列句子。学生以小组为单位来完成。完成后集体来订 正。Big Ben is very and;Hyde Park is very and;River Thames is very and;Tower Bridge is very and.There are boats on the river.4 .
