1、 Good morning,dear judges.Im number 5.Its my great honor to be here to interpret my teaching ideas.The topic of this lesson is“I am going to study computer science”.According to the New Curriculum Standard,I will present this lesson as follows:Let s begin with the analysis of the teaching material.T
2、his lesson is chosen from PEP English book of junior high school,the first semester of grade8,Unit 6.The main topic of this unit is about professions.After students finished this lesson,they could understand the usage of the basic structure of simply future tense“be going to”.Only after learning thi
3、s lesson,can students learn the following lessons,such as the usage of“will”,the other way to express simple future tense,so this lesson is quite important to their further study.The second part is analysis of students.The next step is the analysis of students.Our students are in Grade 8.They have l
4、earnt English for many years,so they have got some basic skills of studying English.However,speaking ability still needs to be developed.Thus the teacher should provide them more chances to practice speaking ability.According to the idea of New Curriculum Standard in English,I set the following teac
5、hing aims.First one is knowledge aims:(1)Students can understand the usage of resolution.(2)Students can use the simple future tense“be going to”to make sentences correctly.The next one is ability aims:(1)Students can use the target language in a different context;(2)Students can foster the abilitie
6、s of getting useful information from listening material;(3)Students can improve their listening and speaking abilities;(4)Students can come up several resolutions from different aspects.The last one is Emotional aims:(1)Can improve the confidence of learning English,and not afraid of speaking Englis
7、h in class;(2)Can cooperate with others actively,and complete the tasks together;(3)Can understand that New Year is a very time to make a plan;(4)Can make good arrangement to achieve their resolutions.Based on the teaching aims,here is the key point and difficult point.The key points are:(1)The usag
8、e of simple future tense;(2)The comprehension of the meaning of resolution.The difficult points are:(1)Can get the main idea of listening material,and get the useful information from material.(2)Can improve the confidence of learning English,and not afraid of speaking English;(3)Can make good arrang
9、ement to achieve their resolutions.Then let s move onto the analysis of teaching methods and studying methods.In this lesson Ill mainly use“Task-based teaching method”,“Communicative language teaching method”and“CAI teaching method”.As to the studying methods,I will encourage students to use coopera
10、tive study method to embody the role of first place in instruction activities.Now,lets talk about the teaching aids.In this class,I will use multi-media,pictures and a tape recorder.After above analysis,lets come to the most important part-analysis of teaching procedures.I will finish this lesson in
11、 the following several steps.1.Lead-in Ask students to do a brainstorm.Ask 3 students to use the simple future tense“be going to”to describe what they want to do.And lets see how many things each student can describe in 2 minutes.Through brainstorm,they could use their all effort to make sentences,s
12、o it will greatly stimulate their enthusiasm in speaking.It can also create an interesting atmosphere in class.2.Pre-listening In this part,I will ask students to do two activities.First activity:Through question to let students understand the meaning of“resolution”.For example:T:Look at the blackbo
13、ard,here is a new word.Do you know what a resolution is?S:.T:Its a kind of promise.And we just spent our New Year holiday,do you have any new years promise or resolution?A years plan starts with spring,lets have a group discussion about your new years resolution.Then I will ask students to work in g
14、roups of 4,and list what are they going to do in this year.And then ask them to share their resolutions by using simple future tense.Such as:I am going to.After this activity,I will make a short summary and move on to the next part.I will tell them all of their resolutions are very interesting,and a
15、sk them look at the pictures in 1a and have a guess what the resolutions are in each picture,and put the right number in each blank.Then check the answers according to the following dialogues:-What is the boy going to do next year in this picture?-He is going to learn to play the piano.The second ac
16、tivity:Ask students to change the address from“the boy”to“you”,and make the dialogue according to the 1b in pairs.After finished,I will invite some pairs to perform their dialogues.Through these two activities,students can review the usage of the two sentences in simple future tense.And it can lay a
17、 foundation to the next part-listening.3.While-listening Firstly,I will play the record for twice,and ask students to finish the chart in 1c,write down how the different people make their resolutions work.After finished,ask students to check the answer in pairs.Secondly,I will play the tape again,an
18、d ask students to read after the record,and pay more attention to the pronunciation,and do the imitation.Through listening to the tape for three times,they could make the meaning of this listening material clearly.And through checking answers in pairs,they could have more chance to speak.And their p
19、ronunciation and intonation will also be developed through the imitation in third listening.4.Post-listening Ask students to do the following activity:According to the resolutions you made at the beginning of this class,think about how you are going to make them work in pairs.Then talk about them wi
20、th your group according to the conversation in 1e.A:I want to be a teacher.B:How are you going to do that?A:Well,I am going to study hard and get good grades.B:Sound like a good plan,I want to get a lot of exercise.After finished,I will ask some groups to share their ideas.The purpose of this part i
21、s to consolidate the sentence structures.Through making conversations by themselves,they can improve their speaking ability.It also can embody the essential idea of New Curriculum Standard:students are the main body of class.5.Summary and homework I will ask students to think about what we have lear
22、ned today.Then make a summary.At last,I will leave them some homework as this way:Suppose you are a journalist,and you are going to interview your friends,and find out three things that your friends want to do before they become old.You can do the interview according to the following conversation,an
23、d after your interview,please complete the chart.A practical homework could inspire students to apply they useful expression into their daily life.It could also can make their study more interesting and joyful.Thus their activeness of learning English will be motivated.The last part is the analysis of blackboard design.I will design my blackboard like this:That s all for my teaching design.Thank you!
