2、ily lives.So learning to deal with stress properly is absolutely important and necessary.As we all know,every coin has two sides.In my point of view,sometimes a certain amount of stress is good.It can stimulate us and increase our level of alertness.While facing some over-stressed-3严炎-events such as
3、 the College Entrance Examination,you shouldnt be scared but confident.You can speak with yourself like this,Ill certainly win.When you feel that stress has done bad effects to our bodies and our work,it is necessary for us to find a method to get rid of the trouble.You can do more exercises,listeni

6、College Entrance Examination and had no idea about the scores.Our class,about 15 people travel together to Mount Yandang for 3days.-5严炎-In the numerous sights,I loved the two.One is the mountain trails with a lot of trees.When hearing the sound of the streams and the birds singing,anything troubles
7、will get away.The other one is rafting.This was the most happiest water fight I had never been.Although all of us were soaking and had to pour out boats of water,we were all excited.With no hesitation,I consider to participate in this tour.What impressed me most was not only the scenery,the time tha
8、t we still get together wasnt too long-6严炎-and the only thing we should do is to cherish the every part weve spent.Unit8 Left-handedness Q1:What does being left-handed mean?What advantages and disadvantages do left-handed people have?Being left-handed means using the left hand more readily than the
9、right.Just like what we customarily use are right hands.Ours is mostly a right-handed world.I was curious about these people at first while they are normal people like us.To some extent,a left-handed person is more smart than a right-handed person.-7严炎-According to scientific studies left-handed peo
10、ple can be good at sloving problems.Their reaction speed and judgements is quite flexible and right.However,to most left-handed people,they are lack of sense of balance.They are likely to fall down.Especially in the car accident,left-handed people are more likely to have accidents than normal people
11、.So when understanding the advantages and disadvantages,we should keep things in perspective.We should care about the dangers,and treat them as a normal person.-8严炎-Unit10 Humor Q3:People in different cultures may understand humor in different ways,and how to smooth the gap of understanding?What we
12、always find in some US sitcom such as Friends is the laughter in it.Sometimes we are so confused about these when hearing some laughter without any fun.These originate from our understanding of humor.Like our Chinese,Id like to say that Chinese language have impact on humor to some extent.We can mak
13、e humor with partial tone.For example,“气管炎”-9严炎-means“妻管严”.I believe the sense of humor come from the cultural knowledge.The wider your knowledge is,the more flexible your sense of humor will be.While facing the gap of understanding,we should learn more history of foreign countries and their ideas of education.Watching more TV series and international news can help us to know them better.With the development of globalization,I trust the gap of understanding will get narrower and narrower.
