、that we should not develop the tourist industry at the cost of our ecoenvironment.Today, we live in a world of prosperity but still threatened by so many new problems. On the one hand, tourism, as one of the most promising industries in the 21st century, provides people with the great opportunity to

It has the magic to turn a backward town into a wonderland of prosperity. But on the other hand, many problems can occur-natural sc

To me, a true e

、cotour is a tour that allows us to express our passion for nature and for our culture heritage(遗产). I love traveling. One of my most memorable trips was climbing the Great Wall. There, I cherished seeing people of all races and ages gathered on this ancient edifice. I cherished seeing these people s

、miling at each other, making way for each other, and reminding each other to watch their steps. While I love traveling, Im also sad to see the damage tourism has done to nature and to our historical relics. Many tour agencies like to label their business ecotours. But they have cut down trees and fi

、lled up rivers in order to build roads, hotels and cable cars so as to attract tourists. And on their tours, some people pick flowers, catch birds and throw away food that might poison animals. This is not ecotourism at all. True ecotourism involves responsibility. While we enjoy the beauty of nature

、, we should also help protect it. Here let me share an experience. Once I joined others as young volunteers in an outing. The excursion(短途旅行)took us to a peak(山峰) of a mountain where we got a beautiful view of the city.We were, however, not ordinary tourists. As we were climbing, we were also pickin

、g up the trash left on the ground by other climbers. Finally, we carried, in large bags, all the trash on the mountain. The excursion was exhausting, but I believe, after this experience, not a single one of us will ever litter any tourist spot. Moreover, when we were cleaning up the mountain slope,

、 we caught eyes of many others. Some of us might see us as foolish, but, more of them, I believe, will take note of the need to protect the environment. My experience was one of an ecotourist. We took, but we also gave. However, on the idea of ecotourism, There many misunderstandings. I one telephon

、ed several travel agencies to inquire about ecotour. And here is how it went: Hello! Hi! Im interested in the ecotour youve advertised. Oh, year, ecotour. Im wondering if we should do anything special as ecotourists. Im sorry? Oh, nothingJust enjoy the scenery. Every conversation ended with enjoy th

Like other students, I have had many dreams of what I would like to do after graduation. One of these drea

In this travel agency, I would do three things: First, I would like to have a staff of people who love nature as they love their mothers and can pass on to the customers the same kind of love. Second, I would like to let the customers appreciate the beauty of nature in

、those natural reservations, safari parks and wild forests, and show them how they can contribute in return for the air, water and nourishment(营养品、食物)that nature provides. Last but not least, Id encourage the customers to work as volunteers as I once did. They would live close to nature by cleaning u

、p the nature resorts and planting trees as mementos of their visit. I still remember when I was standing on the top of the Great Wall,I could see in some distance many bare mountains with no trees, nothing green. It is my dream that one day I would organize tours for areas that are suffering from er

、osion and deforestation, and we would plant trees there. Ecotourism should an experience of learning and offering, it should not be just seeing the famous sits and posing for photos. On the flag of my agency, I would like to print this motto: Take nothing away except memory; leave nothing behind exc

、ept your trees. Join my tour, my dear friends! It will make China green and make this world a better place to live. Thank you very much! 真正的美是什么?It is human nature that all of us should be fond of beauty. Everybody was born with a heart for beauty.Today in China, with the rising of our living standar

、d, peoples requirement of beauty has been heightened accordingly. Some people spare no money or energy on beautiful clothes, fashionable hair styles, the decoration of their houses and even the improvement of their looks. But it seems to me, all these are more or less confined to the beauty in appea

、rance, or rather, the outward beauty In my opinion, we shouldnt only pay attention to beautiful appearance and neglect the beautification of the mind and what we are after should be the perfect unity of the outward beauty and the inner beauty. As we all know, so far as objects and animals are concer

、ned, there is only beautiful appearance to be mentioned, but to us humanbeings, although the outward beauty really matters, the inner beauty is much more important. This was confirmed by a famous Russian writer in words much like this: a person is not lovely for being beautiful but beautiful for bei

、ng lovely. Here, Id like to quote two typical instances and Im sure, my dear friends, from them youll find out what real beauty is. Recently I learned from the radio an unpleasant incident about a well known singer. She is very charming with a sweet beautiful voice and very famous for singing the so

、ng. Devotion of Love. Not long ago, she was invited to Zhejiang province to give performance. The moment she was to appear on the stage, she suddenly asked for more reward. Worse still, after her request was satisfied, she didnt begin to sing at once. Instead, she took her time to count all the mone

、y piece by piece. Thus she kept the audience waiting for half an hour. So when she at last showed up and started to sing devotion of love, a man rose up from his seat and shouted at her, You dont have any devotion of love. You are not qualified to sing this song! Hearing this, the singer stopped sin

、ging and began to shout abuses with her finger pointed at the man. at this time the whole audience burst into an uproar. How disappointed her keen listeners were when they learned this! it is the singer herself who spoiled her beautiful image in the eyes of others. Now, Im coming to another true sto

、ry. Its about a poor, ordinary looking old woman. She was a widow without any children, living barely from hand to mouth by picking odds and ends from rubbish heaps. However, she took in more than ten homeless orphans successively and managed to bring them up. Every day she labored from morning till

、 night. In order to earn as much money as possible to raise the children and to keep them in school, she even went to a hospital regularly to sell her blood. She got so weak for the loss of blood that she sometimes fell in a faint on her way home. When asked why she chose to burden herself with so m

、any children, she smiled and simply answered, Oh ,I love children and like to have their company. Though the old woman was poor materially, she was full of affection and rich in spirit. She was loved dearly by her children. She was also highly appreciated by the local government, and truly respected

、 by people in her community.Maybe you cant help wondering, What makes that ordinary woman so extraordinary? it is nothing else but her inner beauty, her true devotion of love without any thought of rewarding. What a sharp contrast there is between the great woman and the selfish singerSo, to answer the question what is real beauty?, I declare definitely, it is the beauty lying in ones heart of hearts and embodied in his actions and deeds, that is the inner beauty!7
