1、Inversion(说课稿)Good morning,dear judges!Im quite happy to share my teachingplanning with all of you here.My name is Yu Xueming from No.1 HighSchool of Wuhu County,Anhui Province。The topic Im going to talkabout is“Inversion”.What I will talk about includes 6 parts as follows:Part One:Analysis of the t
2、eaching material and learning condition.Part Two:Teaching objectives。Part Three:Teaching key points and difficult points。Part Four:Teaching methods and teaching aids.Part Five:My teaching procedures。Part Six:My blackboard design。Now,let me tell you one by one in details。First,part one,theteaching ma
3、terial and learning conditions.The selected teaching materialis taken from the grammar section of Module 8 Unit 3 of Advance withEnglish.It focuses on the different grammar rules of partial and completeInversion,which is one of the difficult and important parts in Englishgrammar。On the other hand,in
4、 my students previous studying,theyhave touched some inverted inversions,such as,“there be”sentencepattern,but they dont have a good knowledge of it。According to the analysis of the teaching material and learningcondition,the following objectives are to be achieved。Firstly,language objective,many st
5、udents are able to use 6 cases of partial1inversion and 3 of complete inversion。Secondly,skill objective,apartfrom the basic skills of language,this class,I will focus my students attention on summarizing,for example,to summarize the grammarrules from examples。Thirdly,ability objective,the teaching
6、materialoffers a chance for my students to learn how to participate in the activitiesactively and cooperatively,for example,in the activities of grouplearning。As we all know,it is important and necessary for teachers to providestudents language learning situations in grammar learning,which isintende
7、d to help my students understand the grammar rules better in realsituations.That is the key and difficult teaching point。Well,in order to achieve the teaching objectives mentioned above,Iwill use the taskbased method,group learning method and situationalmethod as the main teaching methods。With these
8、 teaching methods,Iwill try my best to encourage my students to learn or use more effectively.Furthermore,I need some teaching aids to help me,like multimediaand a projector。Now come my teaching procedures,which consist of six steps.Imainly talk about this part.But before talking about this,I want t
9、o sharewhat I am going to do before class,five minutes before class,I will askmy students to watch a micro class about the elements of sentences,which I think is quite necessary and helpful for learning Inversion.By2doing this,I can prepare them for the coming lesson。Ok,lets come to the first step o
10、f my teaching procedures。I willshare an interesting story with my students and purposely introduce thetarget language,and then explain the differences between natural orderand inverted order as well as the types of inversion.The topic is to attractmy students attention and lead in the topic in a mor
11、e vivid and directway.Step2。PresentationIn this step,I will share a story with my students about an Americanshooting athlete named Emmons.Some inverted sentences are included inthis story。My students are required to find them out.In this way,theycan have a better understanding of partial inversion a
12、nd completeinversion through some typical examples.Step3。Group learning to summarizeFirst,I will divide my students into several groups and each groupconsists of seven students and ask them to discuss in groups andsummarize the rules of Inversion with the help of learning paper,afterthat,representat
13、ives from groups will report their summary to the wholeclass。At the same time,other groups can express their differentopinions,if necessary,the teacher can give them a hand.I design likethis in order to arouse their activeness and try my best to make thestudents the center of the class。3Step4。Practi
14、ceIn this stage,I design two activities。Activity one is groupcompetition。Volunteers from groups can choose one from 1 to 9 withdifferent levels,questions from 1 to 3 belong to level A with one point,questions from 4 to 6 are level B with 2 points,and the rest are the mostdifficult deserving 3 points
15、,at last we will work out which group is thewinner.Activity two is making up a story。Several pictures will be shown tomy students,and they are required to make up a story by using invertedsentences,of course,some key words and phrases will be given to helpthem if needed,some groups will report their
16、 writings through aprojector。Through these two activities,I can help them learn more actively andmore efficiently,furthermore,both of the two activities can be used as ameans to develope my students abilities of creative thinking and a trainfor their writing skills。Step5.SummaryI will summarize the
17、class with a short video。It is a dialogue betweena wife and her husband,and they are talking about losing weight in ahumorous way,many inverted sentences are used in the dialogue。Idesign like this because I feel it is more amazing and interesting toconsolidate this lesson.4Now,it is my homework。I wi
18、ll ask them to remember the rulescorrectly and finish the exercise in their learning paper,which is intendedto use inversion correctly and put what they have learned into practice.Dear judges,at last I want to share my blackboard design with you.Iwill write the title in the upper of middle,the key w
19、ords and phrases in aclear order and set a competition area among groups。As you can see,my blackboard design is easy and clear in order to let my students learnmore effectively。To sum up,in the teaching process,I follow the students-centeredteaching principle and I will try my best to get most of my studentsinvolved in my class。I m just a guider and sometimes a helper of mystudents in classroom teaching activities and my students are the realcommunicators of the languageou.This is my teaching planningpresentation.Thank you for your attention。5
