9、elp of the other two astronauts, Wang first gave the students a tour around. She showed students how to live and work on the space station. After the tour, the astronauts did some interesting experiments. In one experiment, Wang made a small water film and put a pink folded paper flower on it. Soon

13、ple, it was unfeasible to clean up the ocean. But Boyan didnt thinkso. He made up his mind to clean up the ocean. Ocean Cleanup made its firstplastic-catching machine in 2018, but it broke in the water. A newer model dida better job in 2019, but it would need hundreds of those to clean the worldsoce
14、ans. People began to question whether the group could do it.Boyandidnt give up. Last year, the team developed a new machine. They called it“Jenny”. Two ships pull “Jenny” through the water to collect floating garbage.Ocean Cleanup tested it in the ocean. It worked! It pulled out 9,000 kilos ofgarbage. Boyan and his team plan to collect 90% of floating plastic from theoceans by 2040.Althoughwe still have a long way to go, thanks to groups like Ocean Cleanup, we are onestep closer to seeing the oceans clean again!
