A Job Worth DoingVocabulary, listening and speaking 教案简阳市阳安中学 刘晓凤一、课程分析1 .学习内容本课时所学习的知识是外研版高二上学期使用的必修(5) Module 2中的Listening and speaking部分的内容。 Claire去应聘工作时,和Manager之间进行的一次对话。2 .学习重点学习预测、记忆和捕捉细节信息等听力技巧3 .学习难点听力活动中对数字、时刻、日期的辨别和记忆。二、学情分析英语课堂应该着力于激发学生主动学习的积极性,向学生提供宽松的学习环境,尽可能多地给学生提供参 与语言
2、活动的机会,使他们能够通过亲身体验、实践、讨论、探究等方式提高听、说、读、写的综合语言技能。 学生通过高中一年的英语学习,虽然积累了一些基础的知识,但在英语的具体实际应用方面,例如如何利用英 语进行表达和交流还存在不足。因此,加大课堂学生的听、说能力训练,已经迫在眉睫。随着信息时代的到来, 学生可以通过网络、媒体等多种途径获得相关的文化知识,从而使学生所掌握的知识更加丰富和全面,对一些 社会问题也有自己的看法和见解。这些都有助于本课的进行。三、设计理念本课时主要以听、说教学方式为主,通过导学式模式培养学生的听力及语言表达能力。以听力技能训练和口 语表达训练为主线,贯穿说、读、写综合技能的培养。
3、针对学生听力理解中所存在的障碍,教学中遵循“循序渐 进”的原则,对所学知识进行引导,让学生自己概括来提高归纳总结的能力。四、学习目标以学生为本,注重学生的实际应用能力,培养创新精神。本课的主旨是使学生对有关社会及就业方面英语词 汇的了解和掌握,并通过听、说、读、写的形式记背这些词汇,在此基础上,让学生用所学词汇表达自己对就业 的观点以及与其他同学进行讨论,从而提高学生的逻辑思维能力和语言表达能力。具体目标如下:语言知识目标: 掌握下列词汇 assistant, contract, earn,salary,pay,staff,temporary, permanent.语言技能目标:通过播放本课录
4、音,让学生听懂有关职业及其要求的话语,并能够从中获取重要信息,掌握 本课关于如何选择职业的观点。在学生对关键信息把握基础上,使其进行归纳总结,然后用英语进行讨论,表达 不同职业对社会有不同的贡献和意义。情感目标:让学生热爱劳动,尊重普通的劳动者,树立正确的择业观和服务社会的思想意识。学习策略方面:通过听、说、读、写能力的训练,培养学生对文章的整体把握及抓住信息要点的能力,培养 学生养成独立思考的习惯,培养学生的语言表达和写作能力。文化意识方面:通过对本课的学习和对一些补充材料利用,让学生了解Job interview的谈话方式,提高求职 交谈技巧;为将来就业打下基础。同时让学生有一个正确的择业
5、观。五、教学流程Part 1 Listening and VocabularyStep I复习Vocabulary中有关Job Interview的词汇,从而为听听力做好准备。(课前准备) 通过核对答案和朗读记背单词来复习Vocabulary的单词。assistant career prospects contract earn pay(n.) permanent salary staff temporaiyStep 2 :听力练习,层层递进,获得关键信息。(新课导入)(1):根据所给的词汇来联想听力内容。T: According to the given vocabulary, can yo
