1、英语语法同义词辨析详解mend,repair一、mend及物动词。意思是缝补、修理、改善、弥补。多指修补 衣服、鞋袜等，有时可以和repair换用。例如：Ill mend that shirt.我要补一下那件衬衫。He asked his mother to mend the hole in the pocket of his jeans. 他请他母亲补一下他牛仔裤口袋上的洞。The man came to mend the wireless set.那人来修理无线电装置。You wont mend matters by being so impolite.你如此不礼貌是改 善不了现状的。二、
