2、are university students.Their job is to narrate films to blind moviegoers.Before working,volunteers will get some training.They will learn how to narrate a film from Zhou Quan,the founder of Xin Deng Theater.Every Saturday,volunteers will come to the bus stop to pick up the blind and take them to th

3、e XinDeng Theater.Then all the blind will be seated to enjoy a movie together.When the movie begins,a volunteer will give lively narrations.He describes what is happening on the screen,includingfacial expressions,unspoken gestures,the background and costumes.With the help of thenarrator,the blind im

4、merse themselves in the movie.They laugh when something funny happensand sigh during sad situations.Volunteers at the Xin Deng Theater help blind moviegoers better enjoy their theater trips.Yifan,one of the volunteers,has narrated more than 20 movies.“I could sense they were enjoying thefilm.I was s

5、o glad that my volunteer work could bring enjoyment to them,”he said.“I felt asthough I was shining a light on their lives.”A Photography Trip to Mount QomolangmaMa Chunlin,a young man from Chengdu,was born in 1995.He loves snowy mountains.Manyyears ago,when Ma stepped into the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

6、,the first snowy mountain he sawwith an altitude of over 8,000 meters was Mount Qomolangma.This became the beginning of hisstory with Mount Qomolangma.It has been a century since humans first tried to climb Mount Qomolangma in 1921.Last year,onthe 100th anniversary of the first attempt to climb Moun

7、t Qomolangma,Ma and a partner wenton a photography trip to the mountain.They wanted to arrive at the Kada Valley where theycould admire the best view of Mount Qomolangma.They excitedly set off towards the Kada Valley.However,the difficult conditions caught them offguard.They walked for several days,

8、and the weather was bad all the time.They didnt havehigh-altitude camping experience,and they experienced altitude sickness.Sometimes they feltvery uncomfortable.Luckily,they finally reached the KadaValley,and they clearly saw whatMount Qomolangma looked like.They used their camera to record the bea

9、uty of MountQomolangma.Although Ma had seen Mount Qomolangma before,he was still amazed by it.Later,Ma shared some photos online,and they got many likes.When asked why he chose to photograph Mount Qomolangma,Ma replied,“This processis likelooking for treasures,which is interesting and endless.I want

18、sh,Japanese,and German.More than 10 of his translationshave been published and won high praise from readers.After the story ran in the newspaper,Jin and his family have drawn great attention fromsociety.Many people consider Jin as a genius.But he disagrees and says he is just a hard-workingperson.To

19、 translate well,he read almost every foreign language novel in Zhejiang Library andspent six years learning foreign languages himself.His parents also offered him great help andsupport.In the near future,Jin plans to complete a new translation and learn Spanish.He hopesto keep improving his translation skills and do better work.
