2、 lose his six years ago.1. amazed词性: 意思:be amazed by/ at.对感到惊奇be amazed to do sth.因做某事而感到惊奇be amazed that.对感到惊奇练习: I was at her knowledge of English literature.2. response词性: 意思:in response to 作为对的答复make a/ no response to.对作出/不作答复/回应respond vt. & vi.回答,回应;作出反响,响应respond to. (with.)(以)回应respond that.

4、的复合结构with的复合结构,即“with+宾语+宾语补足语”结构,在句中常作状语或定 语,作宾语补足语的可以是现在分词、过去分词、动词不定式、介词短语、形 容词、副词、名词等。其常见形式如下:(1) with+名词/代词+现在分词(表示主动或动作正在进行)(2) with+名词/代词+过去分词(表示被动或动作已经完成)(3) with+名词/代词+动词不定式(表示动作尚未发生,且不定式通常用主动 形式)(4) with+名词/代词+形容词/副词/名词/介词短语With his hair cut, he looked much younger.理了发,他看起来年轻多了。(过去分词作宾语补足语)

7、,全速跑)。形容词作定语时常放在被修饰局部的前面,如:Mr. Green is an easy-going man.格林先生是个随和的人。形容词作定语的用法单个的形容词作定语时,一般放在所修饰的名词之前,但在某些情况下要后置:(1) 修饰 somebody, someone, something, anybody, anyone, anything, nobody, nothing等复合不定代词的形容词,必须放在不定代词之后。Anyone intelligent can do it.任何有才智的人都能做这件事。(2)形容词短语作定语时,必须放在所修饰的名词之后。I think he is a

9、ahead of him.纳瓦罗让埃斯特班跑在他前面。本句中let为谓语动词,Esteban是宾语,run在此为省略to的不定式作宾语补 足语。“let+宾语+dosth.” 结构(1) “let+宾语+dosth.”结构是“let +宾语+宾语补足语”结构的一种,let在此 为使役动词,意为“使,让”。(2) “let+宾语+dosth.”结构在主动语态中使用省略to的不定式作宾语补足 语。The teacher let students clean the classroom.老师让学生们清扫教室。其他使役动词的搭配:make sb. do sth.have sb. do sth.forc

10、e sb. to do sth.get sb. to do sth.写作天地私人书信英文书信一般分为商业信函(Business Letters)和私人书信(Personal Letters) 两种。高考英语试题中的书面表达一般要求写私人书信。私人书信是指亲朋好 友或同事之间的来往信件。它通常包括四局部,即称呼、正文、结束语和签 名,各局部的具体内容如下:1 .称呼:自成一行,顶格写。常用的称呼有Dear Sir/ Madam/ Manager/ Editor/ friend/Bob等,称呼之后一般用逗号。2 .正文:信件的主体局部即信的正文。正文写在称呼的下一行,段首要留有适 当的空白。正文通

11、常包括三个局部,即开头段、主体段和结尾段。正文的开头语常用Thanks for your last letter asking aboutTm glad to”等。正文的结尾是正文的一局部,常常另起一行,常用表达有Tm looking forward to your reply.” “Best wishes.n HWishing you a pleasant journey.”等。3 .结束语:结束语与正文的结尾不一样,它要写在结尾的下一行,通常位于书 信的右下角,后面用逗号。常用的结束语有Yours sincerely/ faithfully/ truly/ nSincerely/Truly
