1、应用文写作练习指导 讲义 假定你是李华，某英文报正在举办“My Favorite Sportsperson/ Sports Star”为主题的征文活动。请你给该报投稿，内容包括： 1.简单介绍这位体育明星； 2.陈述你喜欢他（她）的原因。 注意：写作词数应为80左右。如何审题谋篇： 1看起来这篇文章好写，既可以写身边熟悉的运动员（如同学、朋友等），也可以写国内外著名的运动员。老师选择写国内运动员李娜（Li Na), 一方面是因为她在国际网球界享有极高的知名度，另一方面是体现爱国精神以及她的那种善于工作和生活二不误的人生态度。要想写好此类描写人物的文章贵在平时对身边人和事的知识储备学生不能只关注
2、书本，还要关注时事新闻焦点、了解国际国内重大事件，包括政治的、经济的、军事的、科学的、文化的、体育的等等。这从另一方面说明素质教育的重要性以及英语写作作为我们中国人应担负的使命：传播中国声音，弘扬中华文化。 2.作为征文写作，多米认为可不一定写成给编辑写信的形式。而是直接把征文（加上标题）寄出去就行，就如同2021年的高考全国卷要求考生就“青年”校刊杂志创刊十周年以Youth and Me为题写征文那样。我们可以根据自己缩写内容对原标题加以删除部分词汇，如My favorite Sports Star或者My favorite Sportsperson, 也可以直接把自己要写的体育人物写在他/
3、她的前面，如Xiong Jiujiu - My favorite Sports Star。另一方面，如果作者对某一领域的专业词汇了解不多，在写作过程中也要学会大胆舍弃，选择自己熟悉的人物来写。 3.注意字数控制，原文要求我们写80词左右，我们需要计划着精致地写，最好把字数控制在100-110之间。写得太少，不能较全面地介绍该运动员（包括他/她的年龄、国籍、背景、人物特点、运动成绩、精神品质等)，当然也不能写得太多，如果英语语言运用不够熟练，自然是言多必失了。参考范文：Dear editor, Knowing that you are calling for essays on the topi
