1、人教版五年级上册平行四边形的面积教学设计亚东第一小学:刘静思一、教材分析平行四边形面积计算的教学是人教版新课程标准五年级上册第六单元多边形的面积 中的教学内容,几何知识的初步认识贯穿在整个小学数学教学中,是按由易到难的顺序呈现的。本节课是在学生掌握了这些图形的特征及长方形、正方形面积计算的基础上学习的,它和三角形、梯形面积计算联系比较紧密,也是为今后进一步学习圆面积和立体图形表面积打下基础。平行四边形面积的计算是在学生已经掌握并能灵活运用长方形、正方形面积计算公式,理解平行四边形特征的基础上,进行教学的。而且,这部分知识的学习运用会为学生学习后面的三角形,梯形等平面图形的面积奠定良好的基础。由
2、此可见,本节课是促进学生空间观念发展,渗透转化、等积变形等数学思想方法的重要环节。学好这部分内容,对于解决生活中的实际问题的能力有重要的作用。二、学情分析学生在上册书中,已经知道了长方形面积公式,掌握了平行四边形的特征会做高,为了让学生更好的理解掌握平行四边形面积公式,因此在教学中采用动手操作,小组讨论,引导启发,演示过程的方法,并通过运用面积公式解决日常生活中的问题,使学生感到数学源于生活,用于生活的思想,感受到数学知识的应用价值。三、教学目标1、结合集体情境,通过操作活动,经历推导平行四边形的面积计算公式并交流方法的过程。2、通过长方形面积计算知识迁移,理解平行四边形面积的计算公式,并能正
3、确计算平行四边形面积,会运用计算相关图形的面积并解决一些实际问题。3、通过观察、比较活动,初步认识转化的方法,培养学生的观察、分析、概括、推导能力,发展学生的空间概念。让学生在观察、推理、归纳等数学活动中进一步体验数学与生活的联系,提高数学学习的兴趣。四、教学重点、难点教学重点:让学生充分利用手中的学具,在动手操作推导平行四边形面积公式的过程中,探索平行四边形面积的计算公式,理解并掌握平行四边形面积的计算方法,能正确计算平行四边形的面积。教学难点:推导平行四边形的面积计算公式的过程和让学生在推导和验证平行四边形面积公式的过程中,充分体验转化的数学思想,形成一定探究意识和能力,发展空间观念。五、
4、教具准备每个学生准备一个平行四边形。六、教学过程一、复习旧知,导入课题教师出示二个图形(其中有1 个长方形和 1 个正方形,并告诉长和宽)师:同学们看,这二个图形你们熟悉吗?你能说出它们的名称并计算出他们的面积各是多少吗?生:长方形和正方形,面积分别是8 和 4 师:刚才同学们计算了长方形和正方形的面积,能告诉大家这两个图形的面积计算公式吗?生:正方形面积=边长 边长长方形面积=长 宽师:其实我们算的图形的面积就是指图形的大小。教师出示一个平行四边形师:同学们看这是什么图形?生:平行四边形师:它有什么特征?生:两组对边分别平行且相等师:它有什么特性?生:不稳定性师:对,同学们,前面我们已经认识

14、其关注学困生。师:谁愿意展示一下自己的剪拼成果?(找同学展示他们的作品,并说明是怎么操作的)生:我先画一条高,沿着高剪开,把它分成一个三角形和一个梯形。然后将其中一部分平移。师:和他做法一样的举手,有没有和他们剪法不一样的?到前边展示。生:我也做了一条高,不过这是从中间剪开的,分成的是两个梯形。然后将其中一部分平移,就拼成了长方形。师:同学们的这两种做法都很好,让我们看一下用课件演示剪拼的过程。我们只要沿着平行四边形的任意一条高剪开,通过平移就可以拼成一个长方形。【设计意图】学生自己动手操作,探究平行四边形的面积公式。小学生的思维特点是以具体形象思维为主,且有好动好奇的特点。在教学过程中有目的
