2、the end”, etc. by listening the dialogue of this lesson. 2) To learn about: How the Trojan War started. (3) To finish some exercises. 2.Ability objectives 1) To make the Ss learn How the Trojan War started. (2) Retell the story using the pictures as a guide 3.Moral objectives: To make the students e
3、njoy the happiness during the interesting activities in groups. To make the students share the glory with their partners after their successful cooperation. Experience the pleasure in their self-assessment. 二、TEACHING KEY AND DIFFICULT POINTS The teaching key and difficult points basis is establishe
4、d according to 8A Module6 unit6 in the teaching material's position and function. 1.Key points: (1) To make the Ss know how to listen (2).To develop the Ss interest in English. 2.Difficult points: (1) To understand How the Trojan War started(2). To enable the Ss to study in groups and cooperate
5、skillfully.三 Teaching Procedure Step1. 1. Warm-up: Make them relaxed and active by Words of encouragement.2. Lead-in ,Let Ss act the Trojan horse.Step2. Before listening.Arrange some situations to help Ss understand the words . prince ,queen , steal punish ,in the end. Ill write the key points on th
6、e Bb while they are watching. After watching, Ill teach them to read the words . Make sure they can read them well. Then 1.Look at the pictures and get the main idea of each picture.2. 11、 centre of the class and what teacher does is to serve them. If not, teachers arent able to cover both the language goals and the aims of education. So what we are trying to help the Ss to learn should be organized from lower level to the high level step by step thinking of different levels of Ss. Different activities should also be taken into consideration, or the high level Ss will lose interests while the slow Ss may give up.5
