3、习惯于做某事,可用于多种时态 used to do sth. 过去常常做某事,只用于过去时态 be used to do sth. 被用于做某事,不定式表目的,多用于多种时态3. as a matter of fact/ in fact 实际上,其实 eg: As a matter of fact, I just got off the plane yesterday morning. 实际上,我昨天早上刚下飞机。4. come / go for a visit 来(去)访问,visit 为名词on a visit 逗留; a visit to 去某地访问eg: Were just here

4、on a short visit. 我们只在这儿短期逗留。 Well go on a visit to Chicago. 我们将去芝加哥访问。5.stand for “代表” eg: “ U. S.” stands for the United States.6. for + 一段时间;since+过去的某个时间点/ 一般过去时的句子;Since +一段时间+ agoeg: We have learned English for about two years/ since 2013. 我们大约学了两年英语了/我们从2013年就学英语了。 They have known each other
